I think i payed 185 for the lowest package, i only got 1 barn tix. early admission thursday was 35.
edit- i think the next package was 285 with 2 barn tix and 385 with all three nights. each package got a poster and i think the upper ones got other things. it was a pretty sweet poster. not really my thing but i do love it and it was more then forecastle gave for their vip (which i thought sucked pretty much).

Thanks for the VIP info! Do they allow you to upgrade to VIP if desired?
Also, I'm traveling alone from Ohio. Let me know if anyone is interested in tagging along or would like to meet up at the fest considering I'm not going to know anyone. Cheers!
you can up grade at about any point. but i would do it at least a week before the fest. i remember hearing people upgrading to vip at the fest and getting everything in the package except the late night barn tix options cause they had been max out.

Got my ticket in the mail a few days ago, going to be a long winter. As I mentioned earlier in the thread.. I'm fairly certain I'll be traveling/camping alone for this so if any of you fine people want to meet up let me know! I know quite new here but I missed the brunch at Roo this past summer and sort of regret that so anyone from the boards that plan on making the trip definitely let me know!

So can someone help me out here? I'm in Jacksonville Fl. It seems that Peoria is the closest airport, but not many carriers fly there. Would it be better to fly to Chicago?
Peoria is very close to Three Sisters Park, if you can find a flight there do it. I'm guessing 20 mins to the festival from Peoria's airport. Chicago is a 3hr drive maybe more depending on Chi-town traffic. You can fly to Chicago then get a short connection flight to Peoria maybe. I grew up near Peoria btw, another possibility other than Chicago is the Quad Cities (Moline IL) or even Bloomington-Normal IL. Both are closer than Chicago. If you can fly into Peoria you might not even need to rent a car. I thought I read about some shuttles running to and from the airport. I'd also email the staff at Summercamp asking about the shuttle service to/from Peoria's airport. Good luck!
DAMN IT! i knew this was going to happen. with saturday late night looking so tasty i might have to do summercamp again this summer. two tribe sets are the best!

I did electric RV last year and I wasn't too impressed. You don't get a solid hookup, couldn't even run our A/C for too long without causing a problem. Blackouts happened almost daily. Granted it was 90+ degrees daily but they plug several RVs into these portable power hubs with 110 plugs. Primitive RV would be cheaper and the better way to go IMO. As long as you can run your generator you should be fine. Oh and we couldn't even drop our canopy because they had us parked so close together.
Seriously considering this now given the jam less Bonnaroo lineup. Can somebody explain the VIP prices for me? I'm considering the delux upgrade which is listed at $299. But there is a disclaimer that says "Must have three day pass." Does that mean I'd be paying a total of $299 for the festival ticket and the late night or would I be paying $182 for the scamp ticket and an additional $299 for the VIP upgrade?

You have to buy the 3 Day + the VIP. It's crazy expensive for VIP now, compared to 3 years ago, which was the last time I did it... It was then something like $140 for a ticket and $100 for the VIP upgrade.

Wow that's expensive. I'll pass. So how hard is it to get these coveted barn tickets. I'd like to go to the Saturday show for sure. And how much are the tickets?
What do y'all think of the lineup adds? I'm pretty excited about big boi, zoogma, and tea leaf green adds but I was expecting one sub headliner level act like string cheese or Bassnectar and was hoping for lotus. Maybe tomorrow's adds will be a little more exciting.

Holy shit, there have been some great add the past 2 days. My excitement for this lineup isn't even comparable to roo's.
and good luck with the LN ticket. the only way to guarantee a LN ticket is to get the VIP upgrade. When the LN tickets go on sale, they sell out almost instantly. LN tickets are usually $30-35
is there still another round of artists to be added? If so when will they announce it?
there will probably be another round of additions, but nothing too crazy... mostly Thursday/small stage bands to round out the lineup. I'd guess those will show up early April...
after watching Diplo with Major Lazer last year at Bonnaroo, I couldn't be less excited Summer Camp added him. That Major Lazer show was my least favorite thing I saw last year at Bonnaroo. (it also delayed the start of Umphrey's McGee, which paid off, but still...)
So here's to hoping Diplo's show is more fun than that Major Lazer show last year.
This lineup is quacking amazing! More excited for this than roo honestly, but roo's got my heart n soul so I've gotta go. Anyway who's been and whats the rundown. Is camping in the woods good? I was planning on this for maximum rest potential. I remember at All Good last year the woods were like 20 degrees cooler than the rest of the campgrounds all weekend. How hard is it to get beer in? Any tips from former attendees to make this an awesome experience w/o going VIP?

Camping in the woods, in my opinion, is the ONLY way to go.
However, the space in the woods fills up pretty quick... so if you want a spot in the woods, it is a great idea to show up no later than Friday afternoon (I'd recommend buying a Thursday pre-party ticket to guarantee a primo camping spot).
Getting beer in can be tricky. Better odds of not being checked with VIP. Non-VIP... is hard. Good luck.

getting beer in isn't that hard. Last year we loaded all our stuff up on a cart, with the beer at the bottom. all our coolers/containers were out and easily checkable. they didn't even bother checking our cart
Hey fellow Bonnaroo lovers! PLEASE helpme make it to Summer Camp this year! I am trying out for their Masquerade Troupe for the chance to perform onstage with my hooping. It would mean the world to me if you would check out my audition video. If you like what you see, please give the the thumbs up (like on youtbe) to raise my chances of making it! Thank you all so much and I will see each and everyone of you guys at ROO!!!!
