Physics is fuckign weird isn't it - the angle of entry is what allows the straight object to make it through the curved angle. I use this principle a lot as a boom operator when squeezing around tight spots and around people but obviously not through an actual object. The fact that someone figured out the precise angle was just too science-dope for me.
