Psyched to see that they're adding Jackie Greene...got to see him and Joan Osborne et. al. at one of the early Trigger Hippy shows...
Chris Robinson (lead vocals, guitar), Rich Robinson (guitar, vocals), Steve Gorman (drums), Sven Pipien (bass) and Adam Macdougall (keyboards) of THE BLACK CROWES “are thrilled to announce the addition of our good friend Jackie Greene” on guitar and vocals.
would love to see black crowes>MMJ sunday what stage
Woof that's a tough call fer me! I'll say if TBC could bring back Marc and Ed I'd rather them headline over MMJ, but that'll never happen. Either way I would love some Crowes on The Farm!

Me to it would be the fourth time I saw them might try and hit up the Ryman Show scheduled on 420 sounds appropriate to celebrate the holiday with that band!
1-1-12 Bassnectar NYE SHOW! 1-21-12 G. Love and Special Sauce 3-1-12 Radiohead 3-9-12 Experience Hendrix 5-15-12 Jack White @ The Ryman 6-7-12 Bonnaroo 6-19-12 Roger Waters presents "THE WALL" 7-7-12 Ringo Starr's 72nd Birthday Party Extravaganza at the Ryman
I'm just going to go ahead and throw it out that I'm going to try for both nights at the Ryman...4/20 and 4/21. My birthday's 4/22 so the timing's good. I'll probably be looking to meet up with like-minded Rooers for at least one of those shows since I'm not sure I'll be able to drag my wife to them both.

In the words of Saul Goodman from Breaking Bad there are plenty of women in this world that will do ANYTHING to get into this country. Including going both nights to the Ryman! lmfao you will probably see Old Lono there fo' sho'

One of my top Roo fantasies is to see the Black Crowes headline/LN with Jimmy Page ala Live at the Greek.
I'd do anything. Anything.
I think they're highly likely to play, as long as they're not in Europe for the summer. A long-time Roo vet, fresh off of a hiatus, appeals to the rock & jam crowd....

The 2005 daytime set was glorious. They opened with "Don't Do It" and never let up. If they come back I'd like a long nighttime set, like Govt. Mule did in a tent in '07.
