Yep they'll probably play just about all of it, maybe in sequence, because of the 30th anny.
last night at Aftershock they did the same thing. Black Album in reverse order for the Sunday show. I'm so disappointed, I've been waiting to see Metallica my entire life and all I get is the damn black album. I guess it's better to go in knowing that at least

Hope they don’t do this at the Atlanta show.
godspeed. I thought about buying a ticket to that this morning when I saw the Aftershock setlist, but realized I have a gig on that date 😭

Made the call to skip Psycho next year even with Mercyful Fate. After how they’ve handled things the past few years, I realized it wasn’t my scene. Went on and picked up Fire In The Mountain tickets today. I’m camping so if you think “Hey, I’d love to camp in Wyoming with some bears and Wolves In The Throne Room”, lmk. I’m doing this solo.

Listened to the black album tonight to prep, and it starts really strong but gets super boring by the end. Which makes reverse order actually super enticing for a festival show, I can just hang out in the back and drink a couple beers for the first few and slowly get more and more into it, by the time Sad But True and Sandman happen it'll be lit
Fire-Toolz's albums are always wild with a lot going on but this one takes it to the next level. The music is really hard to describe, the vocals are all done in a black metal style, but the music is also only sometimes metal as well and 75% of the time it sounds like the music from a really good Playstation 1 game; on this album there's a lot more jazz/prog influence and surprisingly effective saxophone. It's incredibly long and definitely adventurous by literally anyone's standards but I'm sure a couple of you will like it:

Dopesmoker got taken off of Spotify (and Bandcamp) looks like.
It’ll be back. It’s looking like they’ve handed everything over to Third Man. They re-released The Clarity 12” for 4/20 (last year) and I’d suspect Dopesmoker will be this years surprise release.
