Imagine that twist... if Roo Clues could mean multiple artists per clue.

Hmm, it does seem like this must be a sure thing. Which would make me a happy camper for the sole reason that it's nice to have SOMETHING to go on. Assuming we're right here, the three lines of our haiku refer to the act's name, a song by the act, and a biographical tidbit about the act. Not that I expect that to be true of each one, but we may be able to infer that the three lines are basically three separate hints pointing to one act. (Although I guess that was pretty logical anyway, given the separation of the lines in our Thursday clues.)

He responded that it was from clue #7 when people asked. To be fair, a bunch of people guessed A$AP on facebook too, so it's not necessarily from here.
They felt sorry for us bc it is impossible to solve any of the other clues. So they gave us a clue that was not a clue but a conformation on an act. Thanks bonnaroo

I'm guessing this one isn't a swerve. I've been watching the Facebook and Twitter chatter quite a bit for my column and while this place has been mildly annoyed by the cryptic clues and lack of hints, the Facebook fans have been losing their shit over it. I'm guessing Bonnaroo threw a softball so people would keep playing.

Haven't been keeping up with these threads. I just saw the he confirmed it and then saw a lot of people talking about it on here so was trying to see the timing of it

Yes I think the same. They had to give us an easy clue to keep people interested.
I forgot about Das Racist because they are pretty forgettable. I guess A$AP could fit that slot.
But he's not big enough for a stage show and I don't think he's big enough to be a tent-closer. I don't necessarily think he can't be on the farm - especially given how well this clue fits - I'm just trying to figure out where and when would make sense.
