holy wow if Avetts were the headliner Friday and I could just see Sufjan instead (or if that show started late to where I wouldnt have to miss much of the fest), this would be one hell of a weekend. Jesus.
Ok. So a flight would be $200 for me, $200ish for the ticket. If I can get a reasonable room and split it with someone I can do this whole thing, spending money and all, for under $800. That's totally doable for me compared what what I spent on some fests last year. I think I'm in for this.

Seems they got a little weirder/harder with their lineup. Which I am all about. The fact they got Tame Impala is mind blowing. Did not see that coming.

I think the split with Shaky Boots was a good move.

I bought an early bird ticket for this a couple of days ago because I went last year and adored almost everything about the festival. Last night I kind of had some doubt as to whether I should've done that because it seemed like last year's lineup was almost made just for me, and I thought there was no way they could do it again. But they did - I'm shocked and super happy! It sounds like we'll have an even greater Inforoo presence this year!
This is the first I've ever heard of this, but holy shit is that a lineup. Even though I'd probably have to go alone given the dates, it might totally be worth it. Time to research hotels.

Ok so I've thought about it and I think I need to go... even though I am trying to save money..... It's $200 for the ticket and $150 for my portion on a hotel for 3 nights, and gas money. For this line-up I think it's worth it!!
Has anyone else stayed at the Hyatt Place downtown and used the shuttle? I am sure someone said they had the other day. If so, I am going to book a room there and figure out my plan.
