I didn't think I was going to get to come because kids, but as long as we have a decent night on Thursday night I'll at least get to come Friday. Hooray! I hope everyone plans to meet up at some point. I have a couple of your numbers. I'll be in touch.
You need to schedule breaks in and do everything to make those plans happen, imo. You'll need it. Trust me on this.
You folks have fun. I'll miss seeing all your smiling faces. More importantly, I'll miss Ride.

I will certainly keep an eye out for you. I still owe you for showing me the press area last year.

This. You're going to be incredibly busy with new kids (or you should be anyway), but you have to have a little time adult time in there as well. It will make you much better at being a dad the rest of the time.
You got to add a little time until that happens. .
Don't go adding even more time to this thrip of mine. You really do hate me, don't you?
I just meant I will show up well before there is any chance of the bus being there. How was the boarding process for the Megabus? I just have one large suitcase that needs to get put under the bus. No bag to bring on with me.

Super duper easy. When I got there there was a small group of people just standing around and I thought they were waiting to get on. Turns our they were waiting to be picked up. So I just went up to the driver guy and showed him my reservation number, he found my name and he took my bag and put it under the bus and then I got on. Didn't even ask for an ID, no bag search or anything like that. I'm on the top right now and I can def see how this could make a person motion sick. I feel like my belly hurts but I think I may just be hungry. If the bathroom wasn't so bad I'd go downstairs, but it smells so I'm going to wait it out. Hoping we're close to a gas station at the next stop so I can potty and get food/water.
For some reason I'm intensely jealous that so many of you are already on the way there, while I still have to finish baking (magic) cookies, pack, work, and don't leave until 9:30 tonight. Still, so excited! Black Pistol Fire in 27 hours.
Fomooooooing hard right now. Between all the excitement amongst this thread and knowing that one of my best college friends is Shaky Knees-ing this weekend too, I'm real jealous. Have so much fun you guys!!!
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Remember kids. No matter how awesome your beard is, you'll still be second place at best this weekend.
You're not allowed to even speak of the beard if you're not going to see them.
Says the guy that shaves.
I thought about switching it up there for a minute then I looked at their recent setlists and they're playing a similar set to the last time I saw them.

My wife hates the beard. At least She's going to see Clutch.

Hmm, that picture has me curious about the set up now. Based on the festival map and Google Earth, I didn't think there was a baseball infield that close to the stage. Maybe it's just the angle of the picture.

Going to shaky knees this weekend is hands down the most irresponsible thing I have ever done and I know I'm not going to regret it one bit. 12 hours until my bus leaves!!!

Bus is officially late now. Half of the parking for the buses at the terminal are currently taken up by two police cars dealing with a mentally unstable woman. Fun times.
