A lot of this stuff is still new for Proboards as well as us. The mobile look is something that they are apparently working on hopefully will be upgraded in the near future.
I think the birthdays are a day behind. Love how they are now listed though. A lot easier that clicking on everyone's name to see if they are a regular poster.
Wow. I guess I'm in the minority, but I dislike almost every change. I thought it kept things a lot more interesting being able to dislike posts and being able to see cumulative diddles and dunzos. Moving to just singular likes seems like a move to homogeneity with the rest of the interwebs, something I'm disappointed to see. I agree that the format of the threads overall is confusing - to me it's hard to keep track of where posts end and signatures begin and who posted what and which post/signature the like button is associated with. Some of the other functions may be sharper for those who use them, but to me, going to just likes is just plain boring and it seems weird to create nintendo wii avatars for inforoo.
Edit: So not only is the like button at the top, but it shows up at the top of the post, too? So we find out who likes the post before we've even read it?

We've heard your complaints and will discuss them. This is the very first incarnation of the board. Not everything will remain as it is. Regarding the removal of Karma and the "Dislike" button is something on Proboards end. We'll discuss and look into alternatives though. Thanks.

Dude, this floating bar is awesome! The old hover over to jump to a certain page thing was broken as fuck. Like, it would disappear and I would have to hover over again and try to click it before it disappeared again.

Friends are members that are following each other. If you are following someone and they are not following you, I guess you fall in the stalker category.
It's almost been a week since the launch of the new site, and while we don't want to confuse folks after we've already made some big changes, we've decided to revert back to a single column of links on the left side of the main page. Doing this should improve navigation of the site on mobile devices like iPads and smartphones. Thank you for bearing with us while we put the finishing touches on the site.
