Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Since 2007 Inforoo members, friends & family, and others have gathered on Friday morning to meet, eat, drink, and be merry. It’s a great way to start the first full day of Bonnaroo and put a face to avatars and screen names, visit with friends old and new.
WHEN is Brunch? Parade – 9:30 | Brunch – 10:00
The Pre-Brunch Parade goers gather at 9:30 AM at Matt’s Tree, located in Access Camping directly across from the Clock Tower. At 9:45-ish, after a moment of remembrance, those gathered Parade loudly from Matt’s Tree, past the Arch, to Tent Only and Brunch, which starts around 10:00 AM.
Matt Sloan was a beloved member of this community. At the time of Matt’s death in June 2010, he was working to rebuild homes in New Orleans that had been destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Matt believed that making New Orleans whole again would require not only renovation of damaged homes, but restoration of the total environment. It was his vision to establish a nonprofit dedicated to replanting trees and native landscaping that would positively impact the well-being of every returning resident. Read more at mattstrees.org/
WHERE is Brunch? HOW do I find it?
Brunch is at Camp Inforoo in Tent Only. The exact location of Camp isn’t known until people get in and set up. It is normally inside the perimeter of the Tent Only section to discourage theft by passersby.
1. Look for the Inforoo & Baby Flags. Don’t give up! Tent Only is not that big. 2. Meet others at Matt’s Tree and join the Parade 3. Wait for the Parade to pass by the Arch around 9:45 – 10:00 4. Yell “Corncat” and listen for “Nom nom nom” in response. 5. Trade phone numbers with other Inforoo members. We WILL send out a search party! 6. Follow @inforoobunny on Twitter. I will tweet the location/landmarks on Thursday morning
WHAT should I bring?
That depends on how motivated you are, how far you have to travel, and your camping arrangements. Extra tables, shade, coolers, ice, beer and water are always needed.
Bring Booze. Bring anything tasty to eat or drink; plates, cups, sporks. Some people make things ahead. Some people bring a culinary specialty or something from their part of the county (hushpuppies, muffalettas, sausage gravy, ham rolls, cheese curds, etc.). Those in RVs who have access to ovens & microwaves have better options. I bring Mimosas.
If you are a day parker, have an RV or are in VIP and feel like a field trip, coffee would be so awesome! Starbucks has coffee to go, not sure if there is a Dunkin Donuts nearby, or a local coffee shop that offers something similar.
I don’t know anyone. I will feel weird/out of place/like I don’t belong.
When I organized the first Brunch I had not met one single Inforoo member, ever. I feel weird/out of place/like I don’t belong rather often. But never at Brunch! I have met so many super cool people and made some true friends for life - because I was brave enough to start this thing that has become a tradition. If I can do it? You can do it. Trust me.

wellll. Even though I was quiet and didn't stay for super long last year, the Brunch was one of my favorite memories. (Thanks!) SO, I found this thread to RSVP... but based on the peeps ^^^^^^ who plan to show up, it looks like it'll be VERY different this year.
First timer and would love to RSVP tot he brunch. I'm gonna bring a case of 21st amendment High or hell watermelon wheat beer, and some fresh watermelon. also maybe some snacks w/ a special recipe
EDIT: the watermelon will be soaked in Vodka for the entire drive from Philly. also my driver will be attending as well. if that is okay.
Me and zacd are in, but we don't find out volunteering schedules until the very end of May. (2 weeks ahead) Will confirm if we can make it (and if bringing friends) once we get schedules released to us.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

dang. there are over 100 people! is that typical? I'm not so sure about my omelets in a bag now... that's a lot of eggs to try to keep in one piece. not to mention having a pot of boiling water may not be too safe lol
is there something else we could bring that would be more useful?

Don't feel like you need to make enough for everybody. Just bring something to share. If last year is anything to go by there will be more food than places to put it and no way to get to it anyways!
I'm horrible at estimating crowds and usually pretty lit by about 10:30. Or earlier. Brunch usually has around 175-225 people according to the unofficial non-professional Inforoo census takers. Not all at once, it ebbs and flows.

I'm going to try and make it a point to come this year. The one thing I'm worried about is that I'm bringing a handful of people and organizing things might be difficult, but I'm gonna try and make it up alone if worst comes to worst.

My plan is to tell my peeps how to find the site (parage/corncat/etc), then if they're not ready when I am, they are on their own. My first year I missed some music I wanted to see because I was trying to wait for people. I've since gotten much more hardened and have been known to leave my boyfriend if he's not in gear when I'm ready.
I'm thinking I'll bring something refreshing, like maybe a couple gallons of sweet tea, and/or a watermelon or two. Will I have a problem getting into the farm if I'm packing a large knife for cutting watermelon though?

Whoreshack rule: They can't confiscate what they can't see.
I have had a pocket knife with me every year (it stays at camp), but they have never seen it during the search, so I don't know how strict they are on the rule.

We got ourselves a regular Daryl Mutherfukkin Dixon on our hands.

I'm volunteering at the tollbooths this year... god I can't WAIT for the body cavity searches... what do you drive again?
