nuuuu Ale-8 is a ginger ale soda that is only able to be found in Kentucky
Ooooo I love ginger ale! I drink Reeds Extra Ginger as often as I can. Is it really made with ginger or just ginger flavor?
It's made with a "unique mix of ginger and fruit", says the bottle I am drinking right now.
Edit, from Wikipedia: "The recipe for Ale-8 is a closely guarded family secret. Reportedly, only two executives—former company president Frank A. Rogers, III and his oldest son, Fielding Rogers the current president know the exact composition. According to the product label, Ale-8's ingredients include "carbonated water, sugar and/or corn sweetener, glycerine, natural and artificial flavorings, citric acid, sodium benzoate (preservative), caramel coloring, phosphoric acid, [and] caffeine." Each 12-fluid ounce (355-ml) serving contains 37 mg of caffeine and 30 g of sugars. (For comparison, the same serving of Coca Cola Classic in the U.S. has 34 mg of caffeine and 39 g of sugars.) The company readily admits that natural ginger is included among Ale-8's flavorings. A trace of citrus can also be discerned."
Thanks. thinking of buying an inforoo shirt this year. flying in & taking shuttle, but will gladly bring whatever I can manage to carry in with me. I am actually coming with two folks not on the board. Just did not want to be rude to anyone.
Sorry if this has already been answered before, but how will I find you guys in tent only? Just look for the people?
We have a few flags that should be set up. One is the Inforooster flag, and then I believe Leo usually shows up with flags of his son's face. Forgive me though as I'm rather drunk and tired and can't be bothererd to look up the photos. Also you can just try shoutin' "Corncat!" and listen fer "Omnomnom." Or just look fer a large crazy crowd somewhere in the midst of TO.

Hypothetically, if I yell corncat-- I will get a response? That's so cool
ok...glad im understood by a few.. so i suggest that people who bring extra special treats label them or make sure its known..such as "magical bownies" or "Xtra special cup cakes". maybe you should pass them out yuourself so that its obvious that you went to a lot of extra trouble to bring those mystical items. i know we have had some special rice crispy treats and cookies in the past. anyone who partakes could kick in a few dollars for that.
last year i think bunny brought a lot of cold bottles of champagne. i wouldnt mind kicking in for that, for example, if i drank it - that was a lot of trouble. i LOVED my grilled cheese last year. i wouldnt mind helping with the ingredients for that if someone is doing that again so you dont have to incur the total expense.

I know the mods have their rules so I will try to be pc. When we went to Coachella a few weeks ago, we met a teacher from UCSB. He teaches how to use Mother Natures gifts to cook. I got his email and everything so it was a cool meetup. His wife is a sous chief and they have two kids. Sorry for my whine but: So I am posting on a public board about a married man with a nice family who is a professor at a major college and I CAN'T really talk about it except with goofy little code words. Done ..... I love you mods but I hope you know what I mean ... cr**** Anyway, mother natures goodies. She is a great Mother eh.

The longer Brunch lasts the louder you'll have to yell.
well anyone who goes to the trouble to appreciate mother nature or even father nature at the brunch would have my financial appreciation - just not sure how to find mother natures gifts at times.
and if anyone who is bringing a grill would like to me bring something to add to what they are cooking - on a more direct note - just let me know. i think hotdogs or brats would make it in a cooler til friday.
no one said if they think my macaroni idea would work? do you think cooked pasta would be ok in a cooler til friday. i have a very good cooler by the way
Are non-inforoo folks invited to join in the brunch festivities too?
Yes, my 2 friends are not on Inforoo, but at this point, they know many of the regulars
Thanks. This will be year two for my friend and year one for her boyfriend. Excited to meet new folks. I know they would enjoy the opportunity to meet new folks as well.
Checking in about ordering some supplies. Do we want kazoos for the parade again or should I look for something different? How about paper products, cups, etc for brunch? Inflatable coolers?

I missed the official Friday Brunch gathering last year but I wondered my way to camp inforoo and met Whoreshack and easymorningrebel, did my first beer octa-bong w/ funkblastin chilled w/ bunny who has one of the most ingratiating and welcoming personalities of anyone I've ever crossed paths with. If for some catastrophic or hungover reason you can't make brunch I recommend just dropping by camp inforoo at some point.
I've never been to 'roo before, let alone this event, but from what it sounds like, I'd say I'm totally in! Provided that I can figure out my way around the campgrounds and actually get to it, that is.
Is it just a bunch of InfoRooers getting together and having a potluck at some communal area?

The Brunch is located in Tent Only which is in POD 3 of the campgrounds.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
