sigh... Quacker and i will not be at brunch/roo this year. As a small consolation we will have a roo streaming party with LD and hopefully the lovely popsicle sarah, and any other NE's that are interested. anywhoo.. not the point. Mentioned in the Whoring thread that we would love to throw down for a case of 'reasonably priced' champagne for the brunch as a thank you if one of the brunch leaders (<-- is that an oxymoron?) could get it and get it in. PM Quacker or i if you think it's doable.
I just bought various Texas beers to bring to brunch - will there be cooler room for them (somewhere between 4-5 6-packs)?
I just bought a plastic blow up kiddie bowl and will be getting bags of ice for it that morning since it sounds like there will be an abundance of beer that needs a nice cold place to rest (briefly)
What can I do to help, or what can I bring? I am flying in from Boston, so anything perishable would be out.
Pretty much anything food/drinkish works. I always like when people who aren't locals bring something that you have in your area that we can't get in TN. A brand, a regional food, whatever. My wife is from Upstate NY and tried to use poor Pepper as a packmule last year to bring down 3 dozen different "Upstate NY only" items that she misses. But honestly, show up with a bag of oreos if you want to. We're easy (and hungry... always hungry...)

Pfft, all I brought was Grandma Brown's baked beans! (Since I am fairly certain Skittles vodka is not an upstate NY food!)
I did contemplate bringing along some Freihofer's chocolate chip cookies this year though. Another one of those things that people who didn't grow up in the area never understand!
ETA: Oh, and for anyone who would have a hard time bringing food/drink items, keep in mind that you can always bring stuff like napkins, cups, plates, forks...or just buy a bag of ice on your way to brunch.

What 'cha got? I'm sure someone will have room. You can use my cooler if nothing else.
I got something from Avery, Southern Star, and a couple from Karbach. I got a four-pack of some cream ale, but I can't remember the brewery off the top of my head. Spec's has a wonderful selection of canned beers!

Alright. I can never find any of the brews from here in cans other than Shiner and Lone Star. I did finally find one single brew from Real Ale, Four Squared, in a can and was excited about that. Not as good as Fireman's 4 or the Pale Rye but still tasty.
What is this magical brunch that's happening? Do I just bring a food item or drinks? How have I not found this place before?!! It'll be my first time at Roo and I'll probably need help with surviving the whole weekend! So can I come?

So I've been on these boards for a long time, but have never made it to one of the brunches. I ran into Pondo on the way there last year but got side tracked by seeing an old friend and never made it.
Since I'm coming with only a couple people this year, I'm planning on coming to the brunch! I'll bring a couple two liters of my homemade margaritas. Look forward to meeting you all!

Im going to hook it up on some Louisiana food....so I hope you like it.
I figure ill bring some Louisiana hot sauce rather than add it to my jambalaya before I come. That way if you don't want yours extra hot then it won't be.
Been getting to know a few people in this community and this whole Brunch thing sounds epic so I shall be there with my gf bringing a surprise to share!
For sure going to make an appearance! On the topic of things to bring, anybody have any Canadian transplants out there that are looking for something from home that you cant get in the states?

Or maple whisky, everyone likes that right!?
I'm not Canadian, but you should bring some Canadian candy! Like, one of those bags of little mini candy bars or whatever.
