Jones Soda comes out with a holiday pack that has stuffing, turkey, sweet potatoes, corn, and maybe some others. I had the corn once, it tasted like butter.

for the past 3 years i have said i would be there, but never managed to make it there.... so i cant make any promises, but i've got a good feeling i'll be there this year! My offering will most likely be a case of American. its amazingly cheap, and its name and slogan are unbeatable.
We had a scout campout last weekend and made omelets in a bag. So yummy!
I have a few questions for planning purposes, and I know this will ebb and flow but it'll at least give me an idea on what to bring:
1. With boiling water, they take about 10-15 minutes to cook. Should we bring pre-made omelets, or let people make their own at brunch? 2. If people make their own, we can bring a turkey fryer to boil water in, unless there's a way to have boiling water at the Inforoo camp. We could get there early to set up and get boiling if that works for those who will be camping there. 3. Usually we just have cubed ham and cheese for the omelets. If anyone wants to add other stuff, go ahead and bring it. That'll help us have more room for our own food lol 4. Right now, how many are interested in having an omelet in a bag? This will give me a good starting point for planning.
Being a first timer, this sounds like a great way to meet new people. With some of the prior posts, how is the atmosphere for teenagers since I will be with my daughter?
I'm pretty sure we've had teens there before. Definitely have seen a kid or two. And I recall a mom and her three teenage daughters (and they're on the board) were part of Camp Inforoo last year. It's a friendly environment and festive! But yes there will be intoxicated people abound.
Yeah, I'm that mom and I got back to her on a private message. I thought all of the Camp Inforoo people were just awesome and we look forward to being there again this year. I'm already trying out new recipes for brunch although the bacon wrapped brown sugar weenies were pretty popular last year
What did I find here?? After nearly 8 pages it appears to be an open social gathering on Friday morning... located below the flying baby flag (in VIP?)... In which info-rooers gather for food and company and mild over indulgence. The only requirements I noticed were showing up and bringing something for the party, and if that something is contains magical ingredients it should clearly be labeled as such. Did I miss anything? The Mrs and I would love to join. I'll put some thought into what to bring, I'd love to make something but we'll be living in an asheville hotel 2 nights prior to Roo. We'll have to get creative.
Very well put. You may want to consider bringing chairs or perhaps an inflatable jacuzzi.

It is in tent only at Camp Inforoo, not in VIP other than that you got it.

i remember last year a group of people (i believe a few were in their rootu's) asked my friends and I where camp inforoo was, and my friends(not nerdy enough for forums) just pointed at me and kept walking. thats just a random story about people trying to find the brunch. the funny thing is that i had no idea where it was either, but i still managed to give directions.
Negative. Brunch is Friday mornin' startin' at 10am and it goes on and on and on in Tent Only located in POD 3.
Just look fer the large rowdy crowd of people hangin' out in TO! Or shout "Corncat!"
why do I feel like if I yell "corncat" something heavy will fall on me?
I keep forgetting we are leaving Wakarusa and going to kill 11 days "lost in the South", b4 the Roo. Hope my niece (Dickson Tn) doesn't care if I trash her kitchen for Roo Brunch

Dickson? We will have to hang out some before 'roo.

Well I didn't tell the exact truth. I thought a few people might know Dickson but they actually have a house outside of the mega city Charlotte They are early 30's, have a kid and a couple of pit bulls (nicest dogs in the world). I tried to get them to go to the Roo and almost did I think but then the Beale fest came up. It fits them better anyway. Party in Charlotte lolz. All kidding aside, we do have to kill 11 days in-between Waka and the Roo so a meetup and last minute planning would be cool. Ron****

I'm excited for this! What could I bring?! I'll be volunteering so I'll be on site the Tuesday before the fest so I could bring some non-perishables since I won't have access to a kitchen
