My question to you is how much over time are you going to work from now till roo? I plan on 15hrs a week giving me a nice little adult time vacation nest egg. I figure work hard PLAY TWICE as hard!

I average 12 hours a day Mon-Fri and roughly 7 hours on every other Saturday because I'm a member of the overworked salary club. But damn it's a sweet salary for what I do.
I will prolly stay an extra hour or so Mon-Wed that week so that I don't have to take full 8 hr vacation days for Thurs and Fri. We don't get comp time. Just have to make it add up to at least 40 by the end of the week.

(wow DeJaVu) I just worked 12.5 hours over this weekend. Should add a couple of hundred dollars to my ROO FUND. Just did a side job a few weeks ago that covered my ticket.

I am also unfortunately a member of the salaried community. My company is fairly cool about it though. A little overtime is expected, but they give comp. days if it gets to be alot.

I generally work around 25 hours a week over time anyway (most of it is travel) so i'm not planning on doing much more. With the Pound cleaning up at the moment, i'll only need to save about £500 which wouldnt be an issue!x
I plan to work 24 hours at least in the next three months so I don't have to use my real vacation time. Anything else after that is just icing on an otherwise already tasty cake

I don't have an overtime option at my job
I have been saving all year though for my wedding, honeymoon and Bonnaroo (May 30th wedding, then honeymoon to Puerto Rico, then come back to Roo!) and have just about enough to do it all comfortably.

No there were two threads created and you replied to the other one. Blame it on the lazy software developer who didn't code in the block to prevent double submissions.

The definition of salaried: unpaid overtime; a lot of it, because they can.
that's exactly why I left the salaried world a few months ago to freelance and never looked back. Make twice as much and only have to work about half the year
8 hours, seven days a week from now till june. I usually have alot of money left over though. I just hate traveling without alot of extra money. You never know what can happen

I spend some of my overtime on inforoo. But I am about to start working 3-5 hours extra a week to help pay 4 the roo. Especially since I dropped Calculus 2 this semester.

As of today I'm 24 hours over way ahead of my prediction but I'll take it cause you never know what the future brings. And yes I'm getting ready to go into work today.
