Like others I suggest tryin' to plan meet-ups between shows at landmarks. Has worked great fer me over the years. Keep in mind though there were two Ferris wheels last year. Granted one was outside Centeroo.

Knowing who your friends plan to see would help too. That way you can head a certain way if your phone isnt working. I found my friends one time by just heading over to the tent I thought they would be based on what they told me and I spotted them as I was walking towards it.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

Ive found....stumbled into a few people I know who were going to Roo. my first year I saw my buddy walking through the crowd of the What stage before Bruce. It took until after the show to realize neither of us contacted or planned to meet. Turned out to be a great show and I was glad all my friends were together for such an awesome experience. If the Roo Gods want it to be, it shall be.
Also, ive lost plenty of friends somewhere along the craziness of Centeroo and had a great time meeting new people and discovering new bands on my own. The mindset to have. Your never "lost" or "alone", theres 80000+ people just waiting to meet/party/enjoy you and all you have to offer.

I can't take credit for this gem of wisdom here, but this has definitely helped me in the past:
Always have a consistent spot picked out to meet up when you are in the middle of a huge crowd. Let's say you were seeing a set for the whole thing and your buddy is coming in for the back half... have a spot picked up where you always see each other like "behind the soundboard" or "second pole from the back on the left side". When it becomes uniform, it makes things easier down the road.

Certain spots to meet up work well. Another idea that I recommend is to choose a place that is NOT playing music (i.e. The State Farm Refresh tent). Also, text messages will sometimes be delivered awhile later after you send them (happened to me the past two years) Two way radios could be used if you have a special code word. Corncat will work in this situation

For us its always been easy enough to have a designated meet up spot. Of course one of our favorites is The Fountain. There are other great spots to wait and meet like near the Arch or the Bobble heads. Just deisgnate it that it a place to always meet of you get separated. Peace.

I've always called my friends if I absolutely needed to find them. Over and over because a lot of the time the calls won't go through, but eventually you'll get them. Otherwise I have a general idea of where they are and I can find them if I need to. Make meeting spots though! The ferris wheel, the fountain, the arch, the bobble heads. There are lots of landmarks to use (:
