We have some great matches next weekend. It might as well be the first round of the playoffs.
Packers @ Bears - Winner wins NFC North Eagles @ Cowboys - Winner wins NFC East
San Francisco has a chance to take the #1 and division with two wins and a Seattle loss, unless Carolina wins, and then Carolina is the #1. Carolina can also drop as low as the #6 with a loss and Saints win. If Seattle loses and San Fran wins both then Seattle gets #5
Saints get #2 with win and Carolina loss, or #5 with win and San Fran loss, or #6 with win and San Fran win OR loss and San Fran beats Arizona.
The only AFC spot for certain is KC at #5. The #6 is completely up in the air with all variety of situations as Miami, SD, Baltimore, and the Steelers all in the hunt for it.
Denver gets a bye, but would be #2 with a loss and Patriot win. Patriots can fall as low as #4 if they lose and Cincy and Indy win, or as high as #1 with a win and Denver loss.
I feel worse for Browns fans than any other fans in any other sport.
Chud seemed like he had the team playing hard, and 4 wins with that heap of garbage at QB is better than you could expect. If they hire Josh McDaniels every Browns fan should be allowed to punch Mike Lombardi in the balls whenever they want, but each fan only gets one punch. So they can go up to him in line at the super market...WHAM!...hand a brown ticket of some sort to Lombardi and be on their way.
Congrats ecaFiettiKylliS. If I was a Pittsburgh fan, I'd be mighty pissed at that missed KC kick.
Bears fans.. Wow, that was rough. Green Bay fans (Kdogg), congrats on those two crazy ass plays.
Carolina fans, congrats on your division win. That stupid ass snap on the final drive that killed it for Atlanta made me angrier than you can imagine.
Fellow Saints fans, we really screwed the pooch this month. We had this division in our back pockets and blew it. I'm praying for a Dallas win tonight so that we can play in a dome against a backup QB.
Overall, it was a fantastic final week of football with all kinds of great finishes. Bring on the playoffs!
Good win today to take the division and a first round bye. Now it is time to do damage in the playoffs. Greg Hardy is a beast and a funny one at that. His post game interview was really funny today.

I have not been in here much, but I am glad the Dolphins did not make the play offs. It has been hard enough to watch them this year, I could not take another week of this train wreck. See ya next year.
That was quite a day of football, lot of heartbreak and the playoffs haven't even started. Since I hate Baltimore and Miami, and don't really like Pittsburgh, I'm happy that CKS (and even Rosko, that little jerk) get to watch a playoff game this year. I say "a" because there's no chance they win
And then there's this, a video showing the locker room's reaction to at least one more year of Rex:

Dan Snyder fired Shanahan, as expected. Last season was a lot of fun. However, he was still 24-40 overall and allowed Washington to enter a season with Rex Grossman and John Beck as the only QBs yet was still too inept to suck enough for a top 2 pick. It was the right call, but I don't exactly expect the 8th time to be a charm for Dan Snyder. Nobody wants to coach in D.C., and I can't blame them.

I can't imagine a worse fan experience than having your favorite team held hostage by a shitty owner.
2014 NFL Draft Order as of Dec. 29 Pos. Team 1 Houston Texans 2 St. Louis Rams (from Redskins) 3 Jacksonville Jaguars 4 Cleveland Browns 5 Oakland Raiders 6 Atlanta Falcons 7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 8 Minnesota Vikings 9 Buffalo Bills 10 Detroit Lions 11 Tennessee Titans 12 New York Giants 13 St. Louis Rams 14 Chicago Bears 15 Pittsburgh Steelers 16 Baltimore Ravens 17 New York Jets 18 Miami Dolphins 19 Dallas Cowboys 20 Arizona Cardinals
Also, Schiano and Mark Dominick (the Bucs GM) are going to be fired. Darrelle Revis has to be cut before March 5th in order for his entire unguaranteed contract comes off the books.
Ladies and gentlemen, joining the annals of the "worst trades ever" is none other than the Darrelle Revis trade. Mocked for it at the time, the Jets flipped relentless malcontent Darrelle Revis for Sheldon Boss Hogg "I should be offensive AND defensive rookie of the year" Richardson and a 3rd rounder in this coming draft for one year of Revis at elite QB money and 4 wins.
If they cut Revis to get out from, under his cap figure.....holy crap.
I would be shocked if he stays, skill position players have to make the move when their value is at its highest. Matt Barkley was going to be the top QB taken before going back to school, for example.

I would be too. the reason I say there's a chance is he didn't even submit his papers for a draft review. that's either extreme confidence because he knows he will go in the top 15. or that could mean he plans to come back. he said he knows and the coaches know his decision but they're not announcing it until after the bowl game.
