For any folks near the NYC area:
The instrumental Led Zeppelin cover act Bustle in Your Hedgrow will return to New York’s Brooklyn Bowl from August 29-31. While the first two nights of the run will feature classic Zeppelin material, the band has announced that the third night of the residency will be the first official “Bustle Plays Other Sh!t” show. The quartet will use the night to play material by other artists.
These shows will also mark the 10th anniversary of the project, which debuted on a Rocks Off concert cruise circulating New York as part of promoter Jake Szufnarowski’s birthday celebration. Bustle features Marco Benevento, Joe Russo, Ween’s Dave Dreiwitz and Scott Metzer.
Forgive me if this is a silly question... but any chance these guys would somehow end up involved in a Zeppelin-themed Superjam?
I was dead tired by the time the Superjam was done, so I ended up taking this set in from a comfy horizontal position a ways back... one of my favorites of the weekend. Hope to see them again (and I wouldn't complain about more guests to pitch in on vocals).
