Yup...that's why I could go without them again. I don't make it to Coachella every year but the fact this would be my third and a repeat headliner already is a frustrating thought for me
I think with OutKast and Arcade Fire basically being confirmed we are looking at an early January release. Also Coachella has been updating their facebook page and in 2013 they didn't start doing that until January.

They have also been tweeting different pictures of the grounds once a week since mid-december too. I'm expecting/guessing it's released by the 11th.
I know I read an interview with Tommy as to why Riot Fest and not Coachella. His response was something to the effect of ".. we wanted to play a smaller festival first". For the life of me, I can't find the interview. It's kept me going for sometime now.
I hate ska and raggae, but I love Fishbone. Probably because they are more funk metal than either of those. And they rule live.
I saw them several times but that was a traveling Lollapalooza. I don't remember it being good, but in all fairness, I've forgotten the better half of the 90's.

I've seen them a couple of times in the past few years. Very good shows. One of which was during Mardi Gras this year here in Mobile. And I also saw an awesome late night show during Voodoo just a couple of months ago called Monsters of Funk. Norwood Fisher was one of those Monsters.
Replacements are reportedly asking half a mil for 2014 festival gigs. Don't know if that makes them more likely for Coachella (because they have the money to book them without blinking) or less likely (because that's a ton of money for a band that might not even be second line on the poster).
They've stepped up their online presence as of late. New website and obligatory official FB/Twitter pages. They will be playing shows. The question is where.
I would imagine that the only way Replacements are not billed 2nd on their day is if it's the same day as the biggest UNTZ act of the fest is playing(i.e. 2012: Black Keys > Swedish House Mafia > Pulp).
What about Lady Gaga? Doesn't play LA till late July, big gap in tour. Seems as plausible as her playing Bonnaroo. Maybe she's the shared HL a la Radiohead in 2012.
