This just seems like a duo that won't just play one set over the weekend. I see them with those portable amps and microphones in that one video. I could see them pulling off guerrilla style sets in other places like the fountain.
At least I'm hoping, because goddamn I cannot sacrifice being in the pit for Macca.

I have only seen wilco once and I really enjoyed it, and I get the feeling I will regret skipping any of their set to check out cloney. Cloney is super cool don't get me wrong I downloaded their album and everything, I listen to it all the time.
But there will definitely be tapers at wilco probably not at cloney! Dam you scheduling people! I hope they play some guerrilla sets too that would be great!
I tweeted cloney about playing a fountain set duringumford saturday night. Fingers crossed. They were hanging out at coachella so i'd assume they'll be at roo all weekend.
Ok the wu tang set change convinced to me to give up on macca pit, I was willing to miss wu tang for zz top (haven't seen) but not for wilco (have seen). If I am going to miss part of wilco for wu tang I might as well miss all of wilco for wu tang and cloney. See ya there people.

You and I had the exact same thoughts. I've seen Macca before from pretty close (ATL - Piedmont Park 09) so I can handle being a little further back for his show. Cloney > Wu Tang > Sir Paul > Hip Hop Superjam > Animal Collective is one of the most epic 10 hour stretches I've ever seen. I'd pay $300 just for that.

I was at Wilco, and I don't regret that decision. However, a few of my friends went to this and took video of a few songs (and I did see your viking horns in front of them in the video), and it looked like a really fun time. We listened to a lot of Cloney at the campsite after that.

I really dug this show and their earlier set at the Fiesta Tent on Thursday. The guys were kind enough to pose for a picture with my girlfriend and I before their set and I even wound up winning the Silent Auction for the signed Cloney mask, which is now hanging on my office wall. Thank you Inforoo, for causing me to go see these guys.
