I liked being able to customize mine last year, but also think it'd be cool to just have a simple anniversary shirt. No names, just a design in one bright color. People can customize it themselves with iron-ons.
What about a 10 year anniversary design, with a place to put your Inforoo name.

It's May... we're down to just a few weeks. Anything customizable is going to take 3-4 weeks minimum to receive. I say make a decision, throw it out there and those who want it will buy it.
Yeah, pretty soon the ice roads are going to melt, and dog sled delivery will be impossible. AirDrop is a bit of a pricey method and takes time to organize. I'm running out of time here folks. Of course I guess I could just have it shipped to someone else and pick it up at Bonnaroo.

Don't go tryin' to give us your weird Canadian mail.

So courageous! Accepting the mail of an internet stranger who is known by the name of "Boner".
Okay gang. One computer crash and a 5-day ISP outage later, I've recovered most of my files, including some initial shirt designs. I'm back on track, cold one in hand, churning the wheels to get something posted THIS WEEKEND. Time is ticking, I know, but I've told you I'd deliver and I will.
I'm definitely in favor of one unifying shirt design and color scheme. I think that promotes the camaraderie the right way. Judging from feedback, I'll nix the names idea...though it wasn't a "roster" or "lineup" that I was going for. I may still flesh out the idea and PM it to the mods...
Any last ideas for a 10th anniversary design, or component to work into the current designs I'm working on?
And again, I agree a list of names does not make for a cool shirt. I was thinking a much more subtle homage to the role players that have built this here online community...
Also, what are everyone's thoughts on printing? If we went with a single shirt, I could have the shirts run locally, on nice quality material, and keep the cost well below what spreadshirt will ding you. That might them more accessible/attractive to a larger audience?

The best laid plans at Bonnaroo often run off course, so I'd worry for whoever is handling distributing them at Bonnaroo. Would people pay up front and try to meet up with whoever is in possession of them at roo? Or would you just print a bunch in different sizes and do a first come first serve sort of deal? Not sure on the # we would need and would hate for someone to be out of pocket, especially right before roo!
I bet some people who aren't going would be interested in ordering, as well!
I'm intrigued by the lower cost but the rest of the logistics seem sticky.
And WELCOME BACK! I'm a big fan of all the designs you've done previously!
In terms of payment, I think the smartest thing is to just decide on a shirt design and make a payment deadline. People can either paypal/send a check/whatever by the deadline and then the order will go out to make the shirts.
For distributing the shirts...seems we can either have them mailed out to everyone or they can be picked up at bonnaroo. IF someone takes on the responsability of mailing out the shirts I think it makes sense to have the cost of shipping included in the payment for the shirt. Otherwise, just pick them up at brunch?
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
Yea, CKS makes a good point. The cheaper cost of local printing is appealing, but actually getting the money for them puts you in rough spot if someone doesn't show.
Unless you wanted to do some sort of pay pal thing. Find out the costs of the shirt, then you have to have your money in by a certain date for printing. Then we can either pay for the shipping if your ok with shipping everything, or not pay for shipping and it'd be your responsibility to get them at Roo.
I guess we still need a design before we start talking about distribution though, right? That, and we're a little too close to be setting extra deadlines for the long way around on some things. Bonnaroo is just over a month way people!
