After yet another National Championship and domination at the draft (the SEC East had more draft picks than any conference), it is time to start up college football talk again. Post your thoughts on recruiting, your team's chance and whatever else.
Tennessee Aug. 31 Austin Peay W Sept. 7 Western Kentucky W Sept. 14 at Oregon L Sept. 21 at Florida L Sept. 28 South Alabama W Oct. 5 Georgia L Oct. 19 South Carolina L Oct. 26 at Alabama L Nov. 2 at Missouri W Nov. 9 Auburn L Nov. 23 Vanderbilt W Nov. 30 at Kentucky W
6-6 means a bowl game, b*tches! Also, Auburn could really go either way since they were f*cking atrocious last year, but they have a new coach and hopefully someone who understands what a QB is. I don't care about stats or anything. If UT loses to Vandy two years in a row and at home for the second year, I will set someone on fire.
I hope to see Clemson move up a few spots into the top ten after August 31.
You don't usually move up spots when you lose.
Also, I think Boyd has a pretty good shot at the Heisman. He plays one of the right positions to win it. He is a big part of the offense, and Clemson's strength of schedule is not exactly stellar.

Welcome to the UCF Knights
2013 schedule prediction: Thursday, Aug. 29 - Akron Result: W Saturday, Sept. 7 - at FIU Result: W Saturday, Sept. 14 - at Penn State Result: W could be a loss easily with missed opportunities Saturday, Sept. 21 - BYE Saturday, Sept. 28 - South Carolina - Parents and Family Weekend Result: L Saturday, Oct. 5 - at Memphis* Result: W Saturday, Oct. 12 - BYE Friday, Oct. 18 - at Louisville* (ESPN/ESPN2) W/L too close to call for me but I image Louisville will hold the W Saturday, Oct. 26 - Connecticut* W Saturday, Nov. 2 - BYE Saturday, Nov. 9 - Houston* - Homecoming W Saturday, Nov. 16 - at Temple* W Thursday, Nov. 21 - Rutgers* (ESPN) W because it's at home. Another toss up though Friday, Nov. 29 - USF* (ABC, ESPN or ESPN2) W. Saturday, Dec. 7 - at SMU* W
I'm expecting UCF to have a good year as they transition to what was the Big East. They bring back a quality offense with returning all WR corps, starting QB Blake Bortles, and running back Storm Johnson transfer from univ. of Miami. UCF's defense is always top notch it's always been the offense that has faltered but after coming off a 10-2 season and with the returners UCF has an outside chance to reach it's first BCS game.
Notable Alum: Daunte Culpepper, Asante Samuel, Brandon Marshall, Matt Prater, Bruce Miller, Mike Sims-Walker, Josh Sitton, Torrell Troup, Kevin Smith, and many more that have made it to the NFL level.
Not as big as a program as you folks have but their on their way. Rumor has it UCF is on the short list for expansion to the Big 12 as they want a foot print in in Florida and have shown great interest in what UCF is bringing to the table as UF, FSU, & UM won't be moving conferences.
E Washington W Hawaii W @ Utah L @ San Diego St W Colorado W @ Washington St W @ Cal W Stanford L USC L @ Arizona St W Washington W @ Oregon No chance in hell
I can see an 8-4 regular season for the Beavers this year, maybe 7-5. Utah and Washington could go either way. They can perhaps beat USC, but then do something stupid and blow it to like Cal.

As a Tennessee fan, I'm sad to say that this outcome actually looks hopeful. Auburn is a potential win this season as well. The others...
After the Sugar Bowl last year, hopefully Louisville can win the Nation Championship.
For real though, they are great team and will have a good year bringing back many players but I think the National Championship will be out of reach. Charlie Strong and that Teddy Bridgewater is something special.
FYI, according to SI.com, the line has moved for Clemson against Georgia in Death Valley from its initial spread of -2 to -3.5.
Clemson -3.5 vs. Georgia: A couple of big-name passers square off in Clemson, as Tajh Boyd and Aaron Murray lead two projected top-15 squads. As the line indicates, this one has the makings of a tight matchup.

Its always hard to say. When the Cards bring there all, noone can beat them. The only reason I can see louisville not making it is either a few bad games or there weak conference. When they move to the ACC in 2014 then anything can happen. But being in the big east I don't think they could lose a single game to make it to the National Championship.
I'm an Arkansas Razorbacks fan (my home state). I will go ahead and make fun of and ridicule myself for this so everyone else doesn't have to.
How is the transition to the new coach going? They're not SEC East, so nobody ever seems to talk about Arkansas around here.
Eh just like every other time we get a new coach: the fans around here are such idiots that they think every time we get a new coach he is going to "bring us back to the glory days", even though we don't really have glory days in the first place..especially in the SEC..theres probably a reason Arkansas doesn't get talked about...all the teams over in the east/Alabama are just better.
I like where we are in that poll. we don't do well when they rank us real high pre-season. we'll be top 10 after we beat UGA. then it's easy until the FSU game, which is at home. looking good.
Vols are going 4-8 this year, maybe 5-7. They aren't hitting .500.
Get out.
I'm just being honest, I don't think the Vols will hit 6 wins this year. It *could* happen, but I'd give it under 50% chance.
I'd love to see a Tenn.-OrSt game, just to watch the Beavers chomp down on someone in the SEC. Actually, maybe Vanderbilt. They'd be more of a challenge.
