I'm pumped for the Jim Rash Q&A. Community is one of my favorite shows and he is absolutely hilarious as Dean Pelton. I was very excited when I saw that on the schedule!

In 7 years I've only stepped into the cinema tent once but this year's offerings makes me think I'll be in there multiple times. The Q and A with Jim Rash has me particularly excited. I love Community.
I've been twice and never even considered it, thought it was a waste of time even, but this year I plan on spending most of Thursday in there to make sure I see Reno 911 (how dope is that) and polyphonic RHPS. The cinema tent rocks on Thursday at least. It sucks cuz I like DIIV and wanted to check out some other stuff but no no word seminar and the polyphonic RHPS will be insane. Absolutely insane and I am sure will make my highlight reel for the fest.
I'm in the same boat @luvdatroo, never been in the Cinema Tent before, but I will be Thursday afternoon! I would love to catch DIIV, but I can't pass up a safety class with Dangle and Junior! Depending how bold I'm feeling, I might even see if I can find some short shorts ala Jim Dangle. Wouldn't that be the best photo ever, you standing next to Dangle in matching shorts? As sad as it is to say, that would quickly become one of my most treasured possessions! I'm really hoping they walk the line of people waiting like some of the comedians do before their set.

I am seriously tempted to bring my costume stuff from my years performing locally with Rocky Horror. Nothing too extreme, just my Eddie costume (not sure how well I'd do with Doctor Scott on the farm). Anyone up for an impromptu floor show?
I've never seen Pootie Tang... Is it worth missing music for?
The movie itself? Nah. Not even sure if the live guy being there makes it better. I think it'd be better if you're a huge fan but if you've never seen it.....stick with the music.
I love the movie. So strange and out there and there's a great story about how Louis C.K. basically had the studio take it away from him and edit their own flick. It flopped as a film but is oddly hilarious and has some good cult classic value.
Pootie Tang speaks no english. He has his own language.
