Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I put my information in and clicked the register button. It worked fine and went to the page where you can link it to facebook. I accidently clicked back on my browser and when I went to go forward again an error box came up and said "Error: Already Registered." I'd still like to link it to my facebook account if possible. Does anyone know if there is any way to get back to that page or to get into my settings for the wristband? Certainly not an experience ruining mistake, but if it is possible to still set that up I would like too. Any help would be appreciated!
This is my first time at Bonnaroo and this forum has been extremely helpful in compiling all of the information that I need to know before going. It is much appreciated!

I don't really know, but it looked like this post was getting close to falling off the front page and I didn't want to let that happen with no answers! I would just shoot an email to the bonnaroo@intellifestival.com address, I'm sure they'll be able to help.
I ended up sending them an email and got an awesome response from them! Here's what they said:
"Thanks for registering your wristband! In response to your message, we're creating a new page that you will be able to access, where you can link your wristband registration to your facebook. Check back for this update in the coming days."
So for anyone wondering, we should have a way to do it soon!

If you go to the registration page you put in your info then below 'Register' there is an option that says you have already registered but just want to connect to Facebook or Twitter.
I gotta admit that on this Facebook registration, the last thing I want to do is spam all my friends with "Ed checked in from This," "Ed checked in from That," "Ed is passed-out face down in the What Ditch," etc.

Yeah last year I got a lot of "yeah, we get it...you're at Bonnaroo" comments on the facebook check ins. I still registered anyway They're just jealous!
Just registered it now and picked the "Only Me" option. Hopefully that will post it to my Facebook only so it won't be over doing it to the people I'm friends with!

So how does the updating to facebook work? Do you just walk up to a little pod and wave your wristband and it posts what band your seeing at the time? I like the idea of being able to keep a track of all the shows I attended, but want to know if these little stations are conveniently placed?

Supposedly it allows you to get the setlists from the shows you check in at, tho I've never looked father into this, and with all the problems with the checkins last year, it just looked like I walked in and out of centeroo nonstop last year. That said, I'll likely link mine this year, specifically to spam the heck out of all my friends...

Are any updates posted automatically, like by walking past any stations or something, or must you walk up to a station and scan your wristband for something to be posted to facebook?

I had to walk up to each station and scan my wristband.
It doesn't post everytime you go in and out of Centeroo does it?
Yuuuup. When you scan your wristband in after being searched, it will post to your fb wall (if linked), but for stages/tents/attractions there are scanners you can use or ignore at your discretion. I checked in a lot on thurs and fri last year, but by Sunday I didn't care in the slightest lol...
I didnt register my wristband to FB but had friends who did and there status updates were riduiculous.
That is why I've never wanted to register one. What kind of updates were posted on their behalf?
everytime you scanned it said."This person just checked in at.... this occurred at least 10 times a day i had one friend who had 33 updates in one night

There is a tall FB pod that you walk up to and scan your wristband. It then makes a post on your behalf to FB saying what show you are about to attend. I have never used it myself, but I have had friends do it. I registered this year because if has a few different perks to doing it. I really like having a copy of every set list to the shows I attend.
I've tried registering mine like 15 times, and the Facebook page throws an error every time. I've given up on registering it with Facebook.
Yup, fucking frustrating. Fuck 'em. When I tried linking it when I registered it barfed up some weird page not found/The server shat itself error. Now when I try it takes me to the step 2 page but when I click on the FB button it just jumps to the top of the webpage. Oh well fuck it. I'm bringing a camera and that will provide way cooler documentation of my adventure at Bonaroo 2013.
The last thing on my mind when I am at Bonnaroo is what my facebook page is doing. What's the benefit of linking your facebook to your wristband? From what I heard last year, setlists weren't sent out. Or were they?

I did this last year. I don't post often on facebook anyway and suddenly my page was inundated with check-ins that no one cared about. I didn't bother to check in at most shows so it basically just updated everyone I know on facebook every time I left Centeroo for my tent or came back in. At one point it checked me in at a show that I was sure I didn't even attend. However if I had known about the set list thing I may have checked in more often.

For everyone who's been unable to get their wristband linked to their twitter of FB page they've fixed the problem. Whoo-Hoo now I can spam the sh!t out my friends next week!

oh please can someone help me with this--so I have two wristbands purchased on my credit card. I lamely registered one of them (mine) and then stuffed it back in the envelope with the unregistered wristband w/out noting my number. The other wristband owner is driving 45 miles early tomorrow morning to retrieve theirs. How do I figure out which one is the registered one? Gosh I hate doing stupid things!
