Announcing the 1st Annual Mafia Commissioner's Invitational
So last year, Fawn hosted a little party called the all-star mafia game that was a lot of fun for all involved. Recently, her props work has gotten her promoted to Head of the Props Department and the mantel of Commissioner of Mafia has been passed to me.
There are many current and former mafia members on this board and I thought we could start an annual grand gala to bring them all together. This will be an invitational event, but I need to know who may be interested. As a twist, we are looking to host 15-19 players in this game! New strategies will be needed and more voices will be heard. Otherwise, the same rules will apply.
This event will not start until after Roo. I plan on having one normal game prior to this event in order to give vets who have been away a chance to knock the dust off and then we will begin!

Sorry guys. I have some things going on in my life right now that have kept me away. I plan to start this as soon as I can, but until I can resolve these issues, I can't get this started. Trying to start late next week.

OK, so I have obviously been away for a while. First for my annual post Roo malaise, then because I had a major life event that needed to be resolved. Still at the tail end of it, but I am ready to kick this off. Please sign up in thread if you are interested since the PMs I got we a bit dated. Here we go! If I have you listed, please reconfirm. If I missed you, please ask to be included.
Format: The game will take place over 9 days instead of the typical 5. Each night, there will be 1 whack and 1 lynch. There will be 5 members of the mafia. There will be 1 inspector and 1 Detective. Inspector functions same as usual. Detective will receive the initial name as well as the guess on night 1. On night 2, they will be granted the power to ask a name, but will lose the insight into the inspector's guess as the detective heads deep undercover cutting off contact with the normal police force. All other rules are the same.
