Like others have mentioned, I've got open blocks (which I enjoy) countered by hours where I would have seen all three bands. Some of my splits are maybes, some are definite. The reality is, when you're on a beach stage, slogging over to another stage for 20-30mins of another band is sometimes a bridge too far. I'm pretty sure Friday will be my favorite day...very eclectic. So I think these will be my choices:
Friday: 11:30 Ozomatli 12:45 Los Colognes 1:30 Balkan Beat Box/maybe Bronze Radio Return 2:45 Valerie June 3:45 Condo/Beach (seeing Dawes at Shaky Knees) 6:15 Gary Clark 7:30 Queens of the Stone Age 9:00 Black Keys/STS9

so i noticed i had a hangout email in my spam box today and its about travel package deals and i see it mentions a Saturday night after party presented by Spectrum Resorts. Does anyone know anything about this like is it exclusive or something we can get it on?

I'm guessing it's exclusive to the tower they're promoting in orange beach.

For the boring 2:30 time slot....here's my take. Valerie June has some decent guitar skills, but her voice annoys the crap out of me even if she does have a unique style. Might be fun, but just can't get into it.
Ingrid Michaelson has a great voice and might be nice to just relax in the back and chill on the beach to. At least she has some catchy songs...the gf will like this one for sure.

they will be playing thursday kick off party.
I was thinking literal bleachers for people to sit in. Which would make sense with Girl Talk closing. Still can't believe that's happening...
Anyone know anything ab the TBD slot on Sunday? We getting another add? Also, that "race for the beach" slot? Maybe a fan vote to move a band beachside?
Maybe one of these is the lost Taxi set (Sunday seems very possible) - why the f would they add one random 230 band a month out?
I'm still holding out a slim hope that there's another big Thursday pre-party add. Going from Umphreys in that 930-11 slot on the Letting Go (Now Palladia) Stage to Iron & Wine or Wolfmother is garbage. Danny Brown, Bonobo, and Girl Talk are enough draw for the Boom Boom tent. I get that. But it just feels like they need another relevant rock act.

Also that main stage spot in the afternoon that is TBD has me interested. I know chromeo has gigs in the states up until may 17 in NY then nothing til June in Eu. I'd die if they was in that slot but that's a long shot and prolly won't happen, so let's just have double Gary Clark jr performances like in 2012.
Exactly 5 weeks from today at this time, I will be on a plane heading into Pensacola airport with 10 of my idiot friends. It feels good. Also, after some talks with some of the guys after the schedule came out, I think I've made some changes. Switching out Shakey Graves for Robert Delong (Shakey is too slow and after RDGLDGRN/DP I wanna keep the energy up) and also Moon Taxi instead of Matt & Kim. I know I would have fun at both but I'll probably never have a chance at seeing Moon Taxi do this again so I'm gonna make that happen. Gonna be a long month ahead.

Yea that delong or shakey graves is a tough one too. But I think shakey only plays like 45 minutes so my plan was to do delong then migrate to shakey graves. Not too worried since I'm sure they'll both me at acl. At least shakey will.

Sun: 1:30 SOJA, 2:30 Reignwolf, 3:45 Capital Cities, 5;00 Portual the Man (tough call really wanna see Bastille but think they might be at MIA as well plus might go see em the weekend prior to HO), 6:15 St. Paul and the BB, then chillin and getting a great spot for OUTKAST!
Can't believe more people arnt stoked on Los lobos on the beach. That's ab 10000x better than JJ on the beach. Perfect beach vibes. Reignwolf seems like a set I could probably forget a lot of. A lot of the yt videos sets seem very similar. I'm sure it'll rock face, but I'm trying to convince myself la bamba is totally worth it
Since the Coachella performance is tomorrow, who wants to take a stab at the Outkast setlist for the tour? My guess:

Problem is a lot of good reignwolf vids on youtube are older. He's gonna play electric love, in the dark, are you satisfied, old man, mandolin song, and hopefully that badass cover of the chain too. In an hr and 15 mins though he's gonna play like 12ish songs I'd guess so there's a lot more people haven't heard. He needs to come ot with a CD damnit.
