Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Are hot dogs a good food for Bonnaroo? Which brand? What type of meat should they be made of? Should I use bread? How should I cook it? How many will i need? Should i buy regular size? Bun length? Please help. My entire bonnaroo experience is contingent upon this question being answered. Thx.

lol Yea, there's been an influx of first-timers making a ton of new threads about a lot of things already covered (EZ Ups, places to eat, how to do this or that, etc.). Been thinking of ways to clean up some things. Maybe make some official threads so in the future we can just point people to them. Problem is, some of the ones people currently use are really old and outdated.
I was literally thinking this same exact thing. Most of the time i lurk in the bigger threads, but the amount of threads cropping up with just a question and a single page of answers has been crazy.

Forget hot dogs. You need a Salty Dog... deep fried beer battered 1/4 lb hot dog- covered in chili, cheese, bacon (and sometimes slaw!). Also, you should only eat this tasty treat while debating bbq under the shade of the clocktower, and guzzling Hell or High Watermelon. Oooh, and if your bbq debate leads to hurt feelings, you are eligible for seconds. Also- yeah, people create more threads than we need... I haven't, but I know how to search. Not sure what you could do about this problem other than deleting/ merging threads as soon as they pop up (or maybe disabling all board members aside from mods from creating threads?). But then again, what do I know- I'm not a computer programmer, and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Should I bring saurkraut or chili? Or both? Will dry ice make the kraut fizzy? What about canned chili topping, do they allow those metal cans of chili topping product or is that frowned upon since the lids are sharp and can be used as a weapon? Should I skip the cheese so I don't get constipated? Should I bring Miralax just in case? Why do some people think slaw is an acceptable item to top a hot dog with? Will there be people eating slaw dogs at Roo? How do you feel about potted meat? Will dry ice make my potted meat fizzy, cuz that would be cool?
Isn't this the time of year for excited people to jump on board and make new posts asking all their excited questions? Haven't any of you been excited before? Does it mean I'll enjoy Roo more if I am more excited than you? Am I the only one happy to see lurkers come out of the woodworks and ask stupid questions that I was too afraid to ask myself? Do you think I am insecure since I was afraid to ask stupid questions? Should I start seeing a therapist before or after Roo?

This is partly what I was thinking on it. It's right before Roo. Isn't that always the time with the most threads and breaches of board etiquette? Just ride it out for another month and enjoy that people are excited and Inforoo is seen as a good place to get questions answered.

Hi guys I'm new around here. Could you tell me everything you know about Bonnaroo is 10 sentences? thx = ) We can even divide it into sub topics too like 10 sentences for an ez-up (who even knows how to use these things?!?) or 10 sentences about traffic and gate times for getting in to Bonnaroo or the farm as you all call it.

In all seriousness I personally don't mind the recent threads from newbies. The threads I've seen are at least asking solid questions, and the thread content remains civil and helpful. Sure, the answers are all around this board, but I don't mind repeating stuff I've read elsewhere on here. After all, some of this stuff could at worst help people be better prepared and have a better time, and at best perhaps save someone from a health related emergency.
Again there is oodles of awesome info on here, but some of the long mega threads can be daunting, especially to a newcomer.
