Gerry L. Cooper I honor your right to post as you will and believe as you will because that is who we are as a Nation. We do not think alike...we won't always agree....but know that this is a fail for some. So many love Roo, so many from different walks of life and faiths or lack there of. Some are even Christians....gasp, I know....so not all of your fans are going to find humor or agree with this particular posting. I know I will take heat for this but please consider that Bonnaroovians come from all sorts of backgrounds and we often differ on topics like this while at the same time find common ground in the love of music.

Dan Berry I agree with Gerry. Someone clearly was not thinking of how this would be wildly misinterpreted, especially since Bonnaroo takes place in Tennessee, where there is a large number of Christians. It would be wise to remove this post before further damage is done to the image of Bonnaroo.

Dan Berry I find this post to be tasteless, and this will be my 6th Bonnaroo. I LOVE Bonnaroo and I don't have a problem with anyone's belief system or morals. But the reference to 666 and throwing around the idea of getting your horns ready on an official Bonnaroo facebook page that has 480,000 followers seems insensitive to many of those who likely disagree with this ideology. I think it would be prudent to consider removing this post before you alienate anyone who truly supports the love and community produced by the environment of Bonnaroo. I'm not even a church goer and I find this to be uncomfortable. Not to mention the implications of displaying 666 in a cavalier manner. You are being careless with your publicity tools and should remain neutral when it comes to religious references, as to avoid any further controversy.

Well it happened a long long time ago, I can still remember how the music used to make me smile. And I knew if I had my chance, that I could make those people dance and maybe they'd be happy for awhile. But February made me shiver with every paper I'd deliver. Bad news on the doorstep, I couldn't take one more step. I can't remember if I cried when I read about his widowed bride but something touched me deep inside the day the music died....

That "horns" handsign is actually a highly insulting gesture in certain places:
"However, when directed towards someone, the sign is instead used as an insult in Italy to imply that another person is a cuckold, and thus the gesture can be offensive and insulting in a manner similar to giving the finger or the "bras d'honneur" (or gesto dell'ombrello in Italian). In Italy, pointing the index and little finger towards someone aggressively or upward with the palm side outward is a common insult as well as an accusation of having an unfaithful wife. A common Italian word for cuckolded is cornuto, which literally means "horned," and this is the probable origin of the insulting meaning of the gesture. [1] During a European Union meeting in February 2002, former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi was photographed performing this gesture behind the back of the Spanish foreign minister. When questioned about the incident, he replied "I was only joking."[2]"

As a satanist, I find this blatant witch-hunt against his evil holiness offensive. These comments do not support the hedonism and hatred against mankind that I expect from my fellow Bonnaroovians. I demand that not only should "devil" be reinstated in the title of the Facebook thread, little red pitchforks and thin handlebar mustaches should be photo-shopped on all of the images in the album.
