EDIT : this is my second year at Roo, and I decided last year that going to Bonnaroo will be my yearly vacation/gift to myself. That being said, I'm really looking forward to making some lasting friendships. So, if you follow me on either of these networks, prepare to become my friend! Like summer camp. And I want to meet up on the farm!
On a related note, how do you guys keep your phones powered up during Roo? I had used a storm charger but it died last year and they apparently don't make them anymore. Obviously, charging in Centeroo is kind of a nightmare so I'm interested in what works for you guys.

Airplane Mode. Saves the battery. You can't do anything on your phone when it's in airplane mode, but my friends and I have set times when we would text each other if we needed to, and that's really the only time I don't have my phone in airplane mode. I try to stay off my phone throughout the majority of the day. I make all my calls, tweet, etc in the morning before I head into Centeroo.

I'm going solo so I make one call a day to check in with my wife and text occasionally. I leave it in airplane mode during sets but tweeta lot during the festival and follow a lot of Bonnaroo tweeters so that I don't miss out on pop-up sets and guests. I run out my battery daily. Have pretty much every year.
(I also camp in Tent Only so charging in my car is really inconvenient.)
