POD 11 Stewie Griffin, first year at Roo and got the Super BFE lol guess that was my initiation into the life of Bonnaroo lots of walking, I determined it was a 5 beer walk
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

We were in Pod 8, camp principal Vernon. Not bad, major improvement from last year. We had some pretty cool neighbors and it wasn't a bad walk at all. 12 minutes at a very brisk walk and about 15-20 at a leisurely pace.
Pod 9, Dr. Egon Spengler. We were the group with the megaphones. Great neighbors.
Were you the ones that kept saying good morning? even if it wasn't you, my brother and I were extremely close to you. I remember looking at the map and we were either in or near the spengler camp.

Camp Marty McFly. Thrilled with where we landed. Easy walk into Centeroo each day, and we were only 300-400 yards from portos/showers/ice. Made for a great first Bonnaroo.
POD 4. Clock Tower. Which I must say was a vast improvement from the last two years. I loved hearing RAM Saturday morning instead of that damn cookoo loop.
Pod 7. Chewbacca. Had a nice little coffee shop and woodfire pizza set up.
We were in Chewbacca as well...remember a North Carolina flag?
Another Chewbacca resident, but I don't remember seeing a NC flag either. Either of you remember a flagpole with a Crawfish on it? We were right across from them.

Realizing if you come in Wednesday your getting pod 1 take that to the bank
I've come in Wednesday night the last 3 years and gotten Pods 10, 2, & 9.
What time and tollbooth did you come in through? Past two years we came in around 3:30-5 through the west tollbooth on bushy branch rd and were promptly directed to pod 1. Pussy galore last year and dr. No this year.

I usually come in a bit after that, around 5-7. I did get put in Pod 1 one year though, which is a hell of a lot better than Pod 10 was.

Where you the guys who said "Good Morning Campers" every morning on the megaphone?
The first morning everyone in our camp was waiting for the morning announcements like at school.
That was us! We were the group from Ohio with the cardboard name placard on our canopy that said "welcome to the gangster's paradise" and a lemon flag flying. The megaphone died down a little after the first couple days but it made our experience much better and made us a few friends (especially when we were offering free shots ).
