I asked should I look into Red Rocks in addition to Roo or is both happening. He said: No Roo, Yea CO.
I don't really care one way or the other, but you will probably get less pushback from people if you posted a screenshot of the DM. You have already said who you got it from, but I don't think anyone would care if you redacted all your info.

Really who else could it be besides DeadMau5? Could just top out at Disclosure this year in the EDM genre, have them close a tent, and The Flaming Lips close LN Which. This is quite a shock, but personally ill take anybody besides 1. Sonny & 2. BassNectar
It's really weird but Calvin Harris apparently used to be awesome. Someone on the Coachella board posted a bunch of videos from back in like 2008 or so and he was putting on a really great show - the whole shitty cheese that he churns out now is a recent development.
I saw him back then. The records he put out at the beginning of his career were pretty great (actually, I still don't think he's terrible, just more mainstream). He played for, max, 45 minutes. Probably closer to 35. On a Saturday. It was garbage.

Do all these "cheese" guys tour with a stage setup or is it all house screens and equipment? As its been stated around here alot, Roo tends to get acts that have their own equipment and stage production.
Also I saw Calvin and Mau5 at Made in America for an hour each and really it was the perfect set time Calvin. Everyone got to hear all the hits, see the smoke, got some pieces of paper rained on them. While I like the music, I am over that live, in fact, "cheese".
I feel like Zedd has to be pretty likely, right? Huge hit single, and while he's big enough to catch pretty high placement at various EDM events, he's not such a big name that he's going to cost an arm and a leg to book.
Yeah just checked Zedds tour dates and nothing in TN in the coming months either... Just let me live in denial.

Grime was there as Clockwork and had a noon timeslot on Saturday. Not a bad performance but hardly ideal. Diplo was there in 2012 as Major Lazer. Either one could make a comeback?

I wouldn't be surprised by another Girl Talk appearance either. In 2011, he was way too big for a tent. I'd hate to see that be the Which stage act but it's actually possible and something Bonnaroo would do.

Girl Talk would be a disappointing "edm" headliner. I like him I'd just rather a diff LN set. Like somebody said a few pages back, he's kind of in his own category as far as genres go.
Ive seen Zedd, he gets a bad rep from being on the radio. He puts on a VERY good show. Avicii is the same way, really good. I think roo will get one of the two.
Carnage is always touring, and I could see him at roo. I could also see someone like Adventure Club absoultely putting on a great show. Bassjackers could be at roo as well.
I just hope we don't see Animals himself Martin Garrix. Firefly can have him.

I'm with you on all of that. Would love to see Avicii or Zedd, Carnage, and Adventure Club. All would be very fun for me personally. Saw Zedd over the summer and was a hell of a good time.

When Girltalk played 2009 & 2011 the tents were beyond full and the shows were a hell of a good time. It got weird, and I loved it. Regardless of position on the lineup I really hope he plays the farm this year.

Girl Talk hasn't done anything since 2011 to make the jump from Tent to Stage. It's a fun show, and probably a little too big for a tent, but not enough that they're going to put him on LN Which.
