Got tickets to see Hardwell in April. Really excited. I'm starting to wonder if Zedd is big enough to do late night which? He just won that Grammy and his popularity is only growing.
Hardwell is coming to Mpls too, a place that holds about 2,000 people. Exciting to see in a small venue, shitty to be packed into a small venue. Still may attend.
Maybe Zedd is big enough, but even at a small festival I went to in August (Summer Set Music and Camping Festival in WI), he was not even the headliner at all there. He played an afternoon/evening set.

Zedd is 100% big enough to host a LN which. There is no doubt if he is booked that will be his spot.
Zedd is so blah. Seen him a few times opening for various artist a couple of years ago. Just wouldn't be an exciting booking in the least, for me personally.

That was before clarity and his overall career blew up, though. Look how high he is on the coachella lineup
Maybe Clarity had not been officially released but that song was all over last summer as far as I remember, but yea since it has been around for a couple months now and really getting some recognition I could see him as the headliner. I hope somebody else is the headliner though, but wouldn't mind seeing Zedd there either.
I would love to see a surprise name on the lineup like Gemini, Chase and Status, Modestep...someone of that nature.
Chase and Status getting some drum and bass in there would be awesome. They are playing Ultra this year so you never know. I agree with you on the Zedd issue, I would be indifferent if he was there or not. I am hoping for someone huge with a little more experience under their belt than Zedd.

Chase and Status have so much energy live. It just flows through the entire crowd while they are on the stage. Been part of my Roo wishlist for 3 years now. At this point if we can avoid both Zedd and Avicii. That would be fantastic. Avicii is fun to see once and might be ok in a late night but I would just rather see the money put into other artist.

Back to EDM on the farm, I had a dream last night that the Chemical Brothers were at Bonnaroo. Every year I want to see that happen, including this one. By the way, I also dreamed last night the show was interrupted by a big storm. I don't want to see that happen.

I'm sure it's been discussed earlier in this thread, but I am really enjoying Flume's self-titled. He would make an awesome Thursday show.
People in my group at Laneway last year were all "why are you going to see Flume instead of Washed Out?" And I'm like "Because I've seen Washed Out before and I'll see them again, but Flume is the new new hotness."
