When I saw Avicii a couple of years ago I enjoyed it. It was way more trancey, as opposed to the hyper electro sound we get from aoki, porter Robinson, etc.
If he kept it trancey I wouldn't mind him at bonnaroo, but I'd be willing to bet he's catered his sound more towards american audiences by now. Which means only 900 BPM tracks that sound like a video game.
Disclosure LN Which is far and away our best case scenario, but I'm betting bonnaroo crams them in the Other Tent.

Let's hope Bonnaroo learned some kind of lesson from that. Also, let's hope they don't shove a great name in a Thursday tent. It killed Purity Ring among others for me last year.

If Chvrches really does play a tent on Thursday I think it'll be insane. I'm really looking forward to their show and hoping it isn't ruined by doing that.

come onnnnn knife party! i'd like to see them, but more importanly the couple that has drove the rv i rode in the last two years will def go to roo if they're there. this would make my day to see them on the lineup in two weeks knowing that i will be going back with my same group as the last two years!
Last year Porter Robinson and Boys Noize played Spring Awakening as well as Roo (both were the same weekend last year as well). Very possible we'll get a little crossover.

Haha. I would add that I seriously doubt we would get any of the headliners. Bringing their elaborate set ups across country with a window of only a few hours would be a challenge. Possible, but not likely. I'd imagine we would just get one or two undercard acts that can just be thrown in a tent and do their thing.

Knife Party is such shit live. I'm sorry. They should have stuck with Pendulum. I think we are getting Avicii'd. The evidence seems to keep building with him absent from these lineups around Roo. I think Firefly could potentially be waiting to announce him after Roo does too. That's just speculation on my part.

i understand not liking them, i'm personally hoping they're there so the guy that drives my rv will want to go this year...he's not a big edm guy but loves them for whatever reason. he just loves to run around at night all hopped up saying "just drop the bass" more in a sarcastic manner than anything, yet he still wants the bass dropped

haha nice. i'm actually one of those that enjoys skrillex, saw him at first ave in minnesota a few months back and it was one hell of a show, man can he crush a crowd with sound. but yea i'm sure my buddy just wants to hear centipide, fire hive, etc whatever. doesn't care how it's mixed, i do enjoy some of KP songs as well, not saying they're anything amazing live
