Really could not be more excited for this year, think they put together a really good electronic offering. Looking forward to so many Disclosure, a tribe called red, Robert delong, chromeo, glitch mob.
Also I really hope that Kaskade gets either LN Which or gets the last spot in a tent. I've seen him play some long, really great and wide ranging sets. Think roo would be a great place for him to bust out a long set, would be a lot of fun.
Eric Prydz had the best set I've heard in a long time. Really can't wait to see him somewhere down the road...Kaskade killed it too, should be a good show this summer

I know it's a long shot, but considering I don't know which day Disclosure will play, I want Glitch Mob on that thurs. My good buddy saw glitch mob at BUKU recently, and said it was an insane set. However, Disclosure is one of the main reasons I'm going to Roo. Classixx is something it wanna be apart of too. My buddy saw Kaskade at BUKU too, and said he was nothing special. He played Lolla in 2012, but he played against Gambino, when Gambino was fresh out the gate. Now I have a chance to see him, but he could conflict with disclosure too. Good thing is that Glitch mob will be at Lolla, but Perry's isn't my style, and way too young.
Anyone who has seen these acts(Glitch Mob,Disclosure,Classixx,Kaskade) How memorable was each one, and who should I see/skip undoubtedly.
I figured he would with the new stage, but that show was still crazy. Stage is way better then previous years no way that set would of translated to the previous Main Stage. I just cant wait till Mau5 fills in tonight, purposely plays the worst music he possibly can, and every shirtless bro will love the hell out of it and say it was his best set ever.
That's a shame :/ Those lasers were definitely apart of it and are normally never seen at Ultra. I honestly have no idea how he got away with that, the production usually can't include intense lasers due to its potential to mess with air traffic and planes. People who went said the lasers looked 3D in person as well.
28-year-old security guard Erica Mack is in critical but stable condition after having been trampled by gatecrashers at Miami's Ultra Music Festival on Friday night. Mack was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital with brain hemorrhaging and a broken leg.
"They saw an opportunity to try to get in without paying," Miami Fire-Rescue spokesman Lt. Ignatius Carroll told the Miami New Times. Tickets to the festival cost $400. "There must have been a whole lot of people. We found her on the ground, screaming in pain."
"A mob of people came and started rushing the gate and started pushing it," Carroll said. "She was doing what she was supposed to do, telling them to stop, when they pushed it down and it fell on top of her... They just trampled her."
The Times reports Miami Fire-Rescue treated several hundred people last night; fifteen people were taken to the hospital. 22 people were arrested on Friday and 26 on Saturday, according to CBS Miami.
"I think we should not have Ultra next year here," Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado told the Miami Herald. "This incident should never have happened."

Its a terrible thing that incident happened, and absolutely falls on Ultra's shoulders. I originally was under the impression that ticket holders were responsible so i guess im relieved that it was just dbags. However, this is just the latest in a long string of bad festival incidents.
I'm actually thankful Roo is relatively in the middle of nowhere. Cuts down on the odds of outside shit like this. Feel terrible for that woman tho. Hope she comes out okay.
Ultra really is good for nothing imo. It's just a bunch of immature high schoolers. Hundreds of kids would go from my high school every year
Ultra. The start of the EDM year. All of last years songs with a remixed drop, and a few teasers of new music.
That incident was caused by non festival goers just looking for a weakness in the perimeter. Its a shame that it happened, and I hope they find justice for the guard that is injured. But no need to punish 100K+ paying customers for the actions of 22 people by not having Ultra next year.

I wish we'd get Armin or Carl Cox on the farm one of these years. Excited for the Skrillex superjam after that Jack U set. DJ Snake was good yesterday too. I wonder if Deadmau5 will come back soon too.
What did everyone think of Deadmau5's twist on Animals? I personally thought it was pretty hilarious
