Sticks don't always break but there is plenty of slashing at the ankles and anybody that disagrees with that has not been watching hockey there whole life. Everybody loves to hate Crosby because he's better than everybody else in the world at hockey.
Yes, people slash all the time, they don't do it away from the play like a little fuckface because you're pissed at the way your game is going, it tends to have something to do with the action. When people do what Sid did, they get called punks and we make fun of them. I've been watching hockey all my life, if that will help you accept my comment better.
I can't argue with ya on that one, I just like to defend Crosby when people hate him for being awesome, this GIF is not one of those times.

I would say this is not true. Attending the games in person gives a much different perspective than watching on tv. The amount of interference, roughing, and slashing that happens near teams benches to draw too many men penalty or to spring a breakaway is amazing. It is much more prevalent in playoffs that a non-conference game in November. Andrew Shaw seems to be involved in shit like this everytime he goes for a change.
I go to live games as well. I don't know why people are fixating on this point, what Crosby did is bush-league, he got a penalty for it, and it's not something that happens all the time.
I'm not talking about chippy shit by the benches, that was Sid, off on an island, 5 feet in front of a ref just cuntily swinging his stick at a guys feet to try and trip him or something cunty because Sidney Crosby is the best example of a cunty little shit that has existed in this country (he plays hockey in America, so it's "this country").

It looks like it starts with the Blue Jackets guy having his leg behind Crosby's and pushing him back with is left hand, also when nobody is around, so I see it as Crosby saying WTF dude, slash.

Milan Lucic might disagree with that.
Now that guy is fuckin classless. His cheap shots are more intended for injury. Crosby's I would consider more of a retaliation.

please spell in "cuntry" if you're going to use the word so many times its lost its effect.
You cant honestly think that that's the first time someone has ever slashed someone else away from the play. If those are your reasons for hating him, then there's really no reason to attempt to sway you otherwise. Crosby is just easy to hate because not only is he a "cunty little shit" but he's one of the best, if not the best, cunty little shit hockey players in the NHL.
ITT: Idiots do their best to defend one of the biggest punks in hockey, when there is video evidence right there for them to rip on.
And I don't see what posting the dirtiest play of the playoffs so far proves.
Some other asshole cheap shotted someone? Oh, so they're both assholes? Or are we only allowed to call one of them an asshole?
Justin - Sid is not retaliating, holy shit what are you watching? They come together, the same thing that happens dozens, if not hundreds, of times every game. Then, because Sid is the little shit that he is, instead of breaking off and going about your business like everyone else he decides to thwack Anisimov in the ankles.
Last post on this because I figured shit-talking Crosby is something every non-Penguins fan can get behind, but I guess I had no reason to put so much faith in you all. I really hope your Crosby Fan Club t-shirts are in the mail, you'll want them in-hand for Game 1 tomorrow night.

true, Crosby slashed the guys shin pads, probably not intending to break his stick over them, but that doesn't take away from his childish antics.
Don't even get me started on Lucy. He did this same thing to Emelin the last time the habs played them, his form of retaliation when Emelin rocked him with an open ice hip check ( one that Chara also retaliated in by cross checking Emelin from behind). The bruins biggest flaw is discipline, and if they let the Habs get under their skin, it could be a short series.

How many goals does the "best cunty little shit hockey player" have this playoffs so far?
IT'S GO TIME! (you're either going to hate me or pity me after this series)

I am a Pens fan but that doesn't mean I haven't called him a whiny bitch a time or 2. The whole prima donna concussion thing was ridiculous. I just think that it helps people hate him because he is so good.
Not scoring goals doesn't mean he's not been effective, just means he hasn't scored. Teams have to worry about where he's at at all times and cater their lines to match up with him. Example- when Bylsma had Crosby and Malkin skating the same PP line toward the end of the CBJ series, Columbus had to make some major adjustments. Shit Malkin hadn't even scored a goal until the hat trick. Our third line was the most productive in that series.
But yes its go time. And I would never hate you for a difference in opinion as long as you make logical arguments that aren't all cunty.

He is 26 years old and his last playoff goal was May 22nd against Ottawa. What other questions do you have?
I'm just trying to point out that he is a good f'n hockey player, that is all.
I posted that Lucic clip because you said "Sidney Crosby is the best example of a Ann Coultery little shiz that has existed in this country"
1. He is not even the worst in his own conference. 2. I can dislike Crosby and dislike Lucic. I can calmly state that Lucic is more "the best example of a Ann Coultery little shiz that has existed in this country" than Sidney Crosby is without wild hyperbole and an overly extreme viewpoint where there are only 2 sides. 3. Sidney Crosby is a whiner and has been his whole career. You provide no new insight or ideas that haven't been discussed hundreds of times. 4. You said you were done posting on this and then replied 180 seconds later. 5. If you think Sidney Crosby is the biggest, whiner, diver, crybaby, etc that is your opinion but I'd rather watch a very skilled player who whines and does minor cheap shots than a very skilled player who is known for multiple serious cheap shots like knee on knee like Dustin Brown.
Chill out. The Rangers can make the Finals. They just have no chance to win the Stanley Cup.
I agree with you sir, but the Wild are taken down the cup this year. Is it sad that I can barely type that with a straight face? Here's to hoping we keep on rollin' (insert Limp Bizkit "Rollin" video)
Sidney Crosby is a little shit and I don't care where he ranks in the grand scheme of little shits because it's a mindless argument. You are literally making "hating Sidney Crosby" unfun and I hate you for it.
Thank you for taking a fun post entirely too seriously to over-analyze the shit out of it. I typically like your style, but re-lax. I'm going to talk shit about Crosby whether you give me your blessing or not.

I don't even think flanzo could argue that he's a shitty player. He's obviously great. But recently, he hasn't been as clutch when it counts. I think he had 1 point in the Olympics, and no goals in 12+ playoff games. That's all I'm getting at.

If the Blues eliminated the Hawks, I would be happy to root for your team. MN is the true hockey capital in the US (screw off Detroit) and those fans deserve a great team. I took a bus to a Hawks game and it was loaded with Wild fans. The bus went past Oprah's studios, the Harpo place. People started losing their mind. I can't say Oprah or Harpo without an overdone MN accent. They killed me.
The Hawks being a -285 to -310 favorite is pretty crazy. I think MN has to split up the top pairing. Hawks have 3 lines to roll at MN and if there isn't more balance in the Wild roster, 3 Blackhawk forwards are going to have a great series.
I appreciate you rooting for us. We deserve something, damn Gophers can't win the title, even Colorado's go ahead goal was by Erik Johnson, from Bloomington,MN and played for the Gophers. You should all thank MN for your hardworking D and 2nd liners. Even Crosby played at Shattuck St Marys...wait where is that? You guessed it, MN.

Shattuck St Marys also was the idea behind Eden Hall the mythical high school from Mighty Ducks 3. Even 12 year old me was shocked that a school had a varsity team so good that they could have the ENTIRE World Junior Championship team relegated to JV.
Other players from the school: Nathan MacKinnon, Zach Parise, Kyle Okospo, and...... JOHNNY TOEWS. Also where Townes Van Zandt and Brent "ole' perv" Musberger went.
Yea the list of pros that went there is a long list. I've actually played in the rinks that were in MD1 and MD2, so I'm pretty cool. When I was 17-18 playing in jr gold (non high school hockey), we played the 16 and under shattuck team and the smoked us, bad.
I'll let you know once I see the line up for the habs. But an honest guess before even looking, 0. Habs won't stoop to their level in the 1st game. Habs are not a big bruising, fighting team, that's the bruins game. If you're a fast, skilled, puck control type team, and you wanna beat a big physical te, you don't do it by dropping the gloves. You get under their skin, get those tempers of theirs heated, and make then take penalties.
That said, the habs will still come out throwing some hits. And if there are any fights, it will likely be between Shawn Thorton and Brandon Prust.

Can you all feel a little bad for me realizing that I will get to see less and less hockey now that CNBC will not be utilized as much, since my f'n directv package doesn't have nbcsn, or golf channel for that matter.
Not even one? I feel like there will be too much Chara and/or Subban hate to not have one in Game 1.
i can see Lucic taking a run at Emelin, then some shit coming from that. I can tell you for sure the habs will stay away from fighting as much as possible.
