Traffic at peak times, yes it will take around 3 hours or more to get to Pioneertown. It took me 3.5 hours from Pasadena on a Friday leaving at 4pm. Light traffic times (before 3pm) you could most likely do it in 2, 2.5 hours. Eastbound traffic out of LA sucks with everyone commuting home during the late rush hour.
Cool... is not the word I would use to describe Pioneertown. I never went to the California one, but there was an equivalent here in the '80s and '90s called Old Sydney Town. Some of the other kids on the field trip were excited because it had recently been featured in an episode of Power Rangers, but it was just doubly corny for me, since I always thought that show was lame (I know, I'm a bad '90s kid).
I might have even enjoyed the village itself, if not for the terrible actors who kept insisting it was 18-oh-whatever. Really? Then explain this Tamagotchi, asshole!
But I spy this outdoor stage on their yelp page... so I really have no idea. Either way it will be fucking cooooool.
Yes, that's the place and the correct picture of the Outdoor stage! Right next to this is also a big outdoor seating area where there is drink and food service. You will be right next the meat smoking area and it will smell amazingly delicious!
I'm so excited for you guys, this place kicks so much ass!

Yep! Got my tracking number too. But, crap!! I'm having it shipped to my parent's house in Phoenix and they are gone til Sunday. If it is delivered before they get back, will it be held by USPS for a signature and pick up??
