Koalas are fucking dicks you guys. Everyone thinks they're all cute and cuddly but that's because they've only ever seen them when they're sleeping. Hang around a Koala when they are awake and you're unnecessarily in their bubble. They'll scratch your face off and drop it on the ground like the ruthless, remorseless little dick-sacks they are. Also have you heard the noise that comes out of those things when they're angry? It's like the sound you imagine a dolphin would make if for some reason it had hemmoroids and was shitting out a school bus full of pubescent teenage football players who just lost the big game. It doesn't seem like a naturally occurring noise.
Delicious Meatball Sub Can we change the title back now? Took me forever to find this damn thread.
It's about that time of year when I start getting increasingly irritated with Coachella for waiting till the last damn minute to release their schedule/set times.
It is also fucking ridiculous that they wait until Friday before the festival to approve/deny media credentials. Absolutely ridiculous.
"Oh hey, you're approved. You now have 5 days to plan your travels. Hope that plane ticket doesn't cost too much! CYA SOON!"
For Coachella, I think it's safe to say beforehand if your website makes it or not. They're super selective when it comes to unique visitors, aren't they? Bonnaroo prefers festivals with over 100k unique visitors, and I'd imagine Coachella would want at least that and a bevy of pre-coverage content.
But yeah, sucks if you're someone who doesn't have a lot of disposable income and has to plan far in advance.
It applies if your publication wants to bring a photographer.
This is also 100% hearsay, and not true. I promise.
They state that in their press app: "We will not be granting photo passes/photo pit access to college publications. Web-Based publications will only be considered for photo passes/photo pit access if their "Unique Viewers Per Month" exceeds 100,000 and can verify this with Compete.com, Alexa, or some other reputable web traffic tracker."
