these guys drive me crazy and i love them so damn much.
I didn't go to UNC, a bunch of relatives did and I got sucked in as a little kid. Big fan, and president of the "Sean May should have gone the Antonio Gates route" fan club.

I didn't go to UNC either, but fell in love with them in the mid 90s watching Rasheed Wallace, Jerry Stackhouse, Antawn Jamison, and Vince Carter. Always nice to connect with fellow Heels!

My team came out on the wrong end of it, but wow, Duke-Syracuse lived up to every bit of the hype.
Best game of the season. Can't wait for the rematch.
Some questionable officiating in the last 10 or so minutes, but whatever, you know that going in when Karl Hess is the head official. CJ Fair looked like the best player in the country.

Of course not.
Edit: I guess I should give you more than that. We went from the unquestionable best conference in the country to one that will still be in the Top 3-4 every year by any metric.
Terps fan here. Really tough loss last night to the Dukies. Had to get extra drunk. Here's to another magical NIT run.
The ACC will miss Maryland in their own way. I'm not afraid to admit that Maryland was a rival for Duke, and a good one at times.
Yesterday's game was the good summation of the rivalry.
One of the best games I've seen this year, no doubt. And I can firmly say that we (fans) will miss the ACC greatly. The conference has been instilled in my blood. Really wish money didn't talk. Can't believe there will no longer be matchups with Duke, UNC and Virginia. Makes me sad.
The Big East might have 5 teams in this year! 50% of the league. The more things change...
Are you suggesting the league is as good as when it has Syracuse/Louisville/Pitt...?
Losing Pitt, Notre Dame, Louisville, Cuse, UConn, and Cincinnati (Go Bearcats, I'm very much enjoying this season) was devastating to that league. That tournament in MSG just won't be the same.
Russ Smith is my hero. Most underrated player in the country and I'm in no way biased or anything
As someone that's a die hard Bearcat fan and was in the arena on Saturday, I hate Russ Smith. That was some Kemba Walker stuff with 2 seconds left. Still, a great game is a great game. We need to keep this rivalry going, it's just too much fun to watch to let conference realignment ruin it. Personally, I'm hoping for a rematch in the AAC Championship game in a few weeks.
