That's a shame, will they active or touring this year at least?
Yeah, they are touring this summer and fall. Their booking agent said that they will be in the southeast in October, but other than that it's all still up in the air besides Firefly Festival.

I am not sure if they have been added to the list but St. Paul and the Broken Bones will be on the undercard for Bonnaroo this year. Absolutely fantastic band and first album is dropping next month. They are from Birmingham,AL and saw them 3 times at Rhythm and Roots in Bristol, TN this fall and then again in Asheville,NC last week. You should make time in your schedule to catch them!

Foster The People and London Grammar should be there.
Foster the People, Avett Brothers, Flaming Lips, Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, Arctic Monkeys. All are being talked about as shoe-ins. I'm thinking we get 3, maybe 4 out of those.

That would be great. Any word on Grouplove? They released an album recently.

Where have Phoenix and Vampire Weekend been mentioned as shoe-ins?

Surprised with that April date in Nashville. I know band play Nashville then Roo quite often but with FtP's fan base I would think it would apply to radius clause.

After the past few years, I'm not even certain there is a radius clause for non headliners. St. Vincent playing in May, Gary Clark Jr. playing a Nashville date the same day as Bonnaroo, etc.
I don't think anybody is too high or too low in that. That said, there's probably gonna be at least 1 surprise in the top 10. I don't think we're getting Phoenix, but I do think we're getting VW as a big pre-headliner.

Maybe show-ins wasn't the right word. But they keeps popping on on everyone's mocks probably because they are bands that play festivals regularly and there's nothing saying they won't be there yet.

It starts to become too stacked when you put in Nick Cave, Neutral Milk Hotel, and whatever big EDM act they end up booking

True but Foster the People are much more popular than those two acts. Not saying it can't or won't happen just seems like they would lose some ticket sales from that date.

Yeah but you never know with the billing of some of those. On Hangout's lineup, Avetts are 7th, Flips are 9th. At music midtown Arctic Monkeys were 13th. Could see any of those plus neutral milk or nick cave being lower than expected or (a couple) even out of the top ten.
Then Again we could end up with:
Kanye West*Elton John*Foo Fighters*Lady Gaga Avett Bros*Flaming Lips*Foster the People*Random EDM*Nick Cave*Neutral Milk Hotel

Since music midtown AM have been on a radio music show rampage to gain popularity. Them being seventh on firefly would be more accurate
