Just noticed the DARKSIDE confirmation. A friend of mine who's a real big fan got me into them recently. Can't wait to tell him.
Kind of like how certain folks aren't sold on Kanye being there, I'm not sold on Darkside. They've got Euro dates the weekend before Bonnaroo and then two weeks after. Rumor was that they'd be adding more European dates in there and hanging around. I feel like it's less usual for a smaller act like that to go Europe -> US -> Europe, but who knows.
You're right I haven't looked at their tour dates so I didn't know all that. Good thing I read this before telling him or he would've been pretty pissed I got his hopes up. Was it you who didn't think Jagwar ma would be playing either? They're at the top of my list, their album is gold. I finally listened to the whole thing a couple weekends ago.

My source said she's coming so she can stick around and "rage" late night Saturday, drinking heady draft 420's and losing herself in the silent disc before finding herself again at the Christmas barn as the sun rises over the farm. I fully expect to see her all wook'd out by the end of the weekend, drinking a can of half-warm PBR, her unwashed hair forming dreads as she shuffles down shakedown, humming "Puff the Magic Dragon" to herself. ... the source is a back up dancer who was gonna have to miss a friend of mine's wedding. he was angry for like a day til they decided not to go with all the dancers. interestingly Taylor was planning on attending roo anyway. that's why the tour ended when it did. don't shoot the messenger.
