To be honest, sometimes it's just a matter of hitting "refresh" and sometimes it's just missed by the filter thing. Still going to be trying to get it figured out...just going to hit a few speed bumps along the way.

I didn't post in the thread as wanting to see expletives, but they are showing up in posts by members who did all of the sudden. It really doesn't matter to me either way. Just wanted to point out that there may be a flaw in your system.

Schlong wasn't in the old word filter as far as I know.
And if everything works like it should then people not in the group will still see the filtered words. That's the whole point of this is to let the people who want to read them see them instead of goofy words that piss them off so much. New members will not be able to join the group right away...they will have to show that they can post like a normal person and not some troll here to screw with things.
Also, we're not encouraging the cursing to increase. It should stay as it is now but without you guys having to use asterisks or whatever. If people get out of control with it and start to go overboard we may remove the poster from the group and issue them a warning. This isn't a pass to be more of an jerkstore to posters. This is just to try and make the people who don't like the filter happy.
As far as confusion....it's the same as it's been. People will point out the filter if someone is confused. It's not that huge of a deal and the confusion is solved pretty quickly if they ask. We'll include the info somewhere in the welcome/rules threads if it's not there already. Good idea.

Also, just so we're clear....NOBODY is in that group yet. If you see curses it's because the system is still being worked on or it could be a glitch. Working on it/looking into it now. As I said in the original post....nothing is guaranteed because this is all new. It was working fine during testing and of course it has to act up once we really implement it.
