you really think a majority of people who attend bonnaroo would know who sleater kinney is. the people of inforoo are not an accurate representation for the majority of people who attend bonnaroo. just because you believe they aren't an obscure band from 10-15 years ago doesn't make it so.
SK has 47,000 likes on facebook, which is more than Break Science. But really, knowing the star of Portlandia used to be in a famous band isn't some feat of obscure trivia.
i was talking in relation to washed out (224,000 likes)... whatever man sleater kinney is at bonnaroo this year cause you say so, got it

Dude, there are lots of good reasons the answer may not be Sleater Kinney, the main one being they are broken up and merely rumored to be reuniting. But Volta803 never having heard of them is not a good reason. I've never heard of Break Science, that does not mean they are not the answer to the second clue.
I drink Jager out of thier glass test tubes. If you keep them in the freezer, these thin test tubes can break. The last time a test tube broke, it also cracked my DMB firedancer pint glass next to it. DMB is the answer. Confirmed. Good work everybody lets move on.

This is like saying Paul McCartney won't be billed number 1 cause all those kids on Twitter didn't know who he was when he performed at the Grammys.

Sleater-Kinney is far from obscure. The little known indie music 'Zine called Time Magazine named them the greatest rock band in America in 2001. At that time (pardon the pun) it was the number one magazine in the world with a ridiculous circulation that no magazines have anymore. Sleater-Kinney's albums were also reviewed in Playboy, which didn't review more then 5 or 10 albums per month. When they played together with PJ it was front page news on Pitchfork. Pearl Jam plays a partial cover of "Modern Girl" almost every night on tour. Sleater Kinney is pretty well known and is very well known in music loving circles.
Like them or not, Sleater-Kinney would draw fans to Roo. Fans that might not go otherwise. If SK was there for a reunion, I would go even if there wasn't a single other band that I wanted to see.

I guess I'm too young to get it then cause in 2001 I was still bumpin Britney Spears and just started to find artistic value in blink-182.

Man, here I've been neglecting you guys because I sort of didn't want to deal with the effort yet and figured I'd ignore it for a few days...now I finally get here only to discover that Roo Clues aren't interesting any more! How am I supposed to entertain myself if the clues are so easy that I can't sit here and judge everyone's guesses while being completely useless myself?!
Anyway, for what it's worth, I have heard of Sleater-Kinney (although I have no familiarity with their music) and would have considered them a pretty well-known act...while I have never heard of Washed Out or Break Science.
In other news, I don't feel like dealing with the website until...at least tomorrow....but I'm pretty sure nobody needs any reference to consult for clues this easy anyway!
