taylor swift was confirmed late tuesday. she finishes her tour in asia then flies back for a saturday roo show with a scaled back production. non-headliner. i hope she pre HL's for kanye.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
I will be nowhere to be found if this is actually happening. I'll be as far away as I can be during her show. I don't want my weekend to be ruined by Taylor swifts shitty teenage girl pop shit.

She's a big indie fan. I could see her coming to Roo and enjoying the whole weekend as an attendee in disguise without performing. She covered The Knife last week via instagram.
She's also an outstanding songwriter aside from a few of her mainstream pop hits.
Personally i never really listen to T. Swift, and don't mind her being on the line up. Probably would skip her set. The amount of Mouth Breathers that are going to go INSANE that she is on the farm, and that Bonnaroo 'sold out', may be even more annoying than the Kanye Hate. This is how i see things going

I don't think it means roo sold out. It won't anger me. I just really dislike her and her music. There's just something about her that I can't stand. I will just skip her set, not a big deal. Really I just wish roo would spend their money on someone better. Because I'm sure she's not cheap.
First Kanye, now her? I know 2 ppl shouldn't deter me from a lineup with over 100 acts, but seriously?! They could have spent their money on so many better musicians!

All this Swift hate... I'm not a fan, but as long as she's not a headliner, who cares? Seriously, her fans can't possibly be worse than the Mouth Breathers who came for Macklemore last year... talk about ruining my good vibes.
There's no way this is true. I'm the biggest creep on here when it comes to Taylor. I've seen her live 8 times. 5 in St. Louis. One each for Nashville, Chicago, and Kansas Cirty. No way this is happening. I've been like the only dude at each show. So I secretly hope it's the same for Bonnaroo. Me and 119k girls.
