"Just announced: Jeff Tweedy at the Brown Theatre, Louisville KY on June 11."
This is so happening.
So now moving past my initial excitement. Even if he doesn't officially get added I'm going to expect him to show up with White Denim unless he adds some tour dates that directly conflict. If he does get added what kind of spot would you see him in? I literally can picture him being anywhere from an early day tent to late day which or even a sneaky late night.

Medeski Martin and Wood are currently touring and just recorded an album with Niles Cline (guitarist of Wilco). Would really be curious to check that out and maybe a Tweedy show up, aka there is our SuperJam?

Honestly, it makes more sense than him getting a solo set added at this point.
Totally agree with you. I'm not sure if he would get officially added to the lineup but he's gonna be there in some capacity. Superjam would make the most sense.
For shits and giggles: If he did play solo it would be a early Which or tent closer, I think.

Man, i want to be at that weds Tweedy show but i'll be traveling towards Roo that day . Some combo of him solo would be great tho. If it was any other week , i'd be at that Louisville show.
Did anyone else find Wilco's show a couple years ago very boring? I felt like I was at a Bob Seger show where he refuses to play Old Time Rock and Roll.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

Do you mean last year? What song didn't they play that's like "Old Time Rock and Roll"? They played Camera, California Stars and Jesus Etc.

It's not that they didn't play hits - it's just that it was boring, like 95% of bob seger songs. Wilco has just become dad rock.

Wilco is awesome. I could see how it'd be boring if you had no real connection to those songs. I know and love a ton of them so hearing them played even better live is always a treat. Nels Cline is a madman and I don't find him boring at all.

I mean, Art of Almost is ok, but it's no Old Time Rock and Roll.
I find them boring, doesn't mean it's not great music. Just not my music I guess. Art of Almost is a kick ass track, though. I thought they put on a solid show last year but when you're waiting for Paul McCartney you really don't care about Wilco.

I was gonna say Nels just eliminates the boring. I mean the songs are mainly sappy but I get an adrenaline rush when that man rips a solo.
