Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'd like to see some reunion level bands, as that seemed to be the most lacking from the line up.
The Replacements - This would make Roo perfect for me. The Dismemberment Plan - tho hopefully they wouldn't play any of their new material Television - playing Marquee Moon would be incredible, but I think that may have been worn out already to some festival promoters Archers of Loaf - They've been quiet lately tho... The Olivia Tremor Control The Wipers
And a few other mid-level acts that would be excellent.
Swans Violent Femmes The Notwist Spoon Thurston Moore The Clean Jesus & Mary Chain Modest Mouse - tho I consider them to be bigger than a mid-level act M83
And of course smaller quality indie favorites
Mikal Cronin joining Ty Segall would be most excellent These New Puritans Titus Andronicus Waxahatchee Speedy Ortiz The Antlers Califone DIIV Liars Savages Swearin Sun Kil Moon Perfect Pussy Viet Cong -- post Women project from ex Women members.
Is there a timeframe artist additions typically get announced? I remember them being sporadic in the past, but I don't always follow the 'Roo trends so maybe I'm wrong.
Redman & Method Man- Because we've had some form of Wu the last two years Childish Gambino- My sn should be plenty indication Motörhead- Why the hell not? Third Eye Blind- All that TEB talk got me excited. Gogol Bordello- Because Die Antwoord>Gogol Bordello would be fantastic. I'm just being greedy with an already glorious and stacked lineup but a man can hope
I was looking into Gogol Bordello a while back and if I remember correctly they'll be somewhere touring in Europe during Roo, this is one I really wanted on the lineup, hopefully next year.

As a new member, I can't post threads... Is there any chance someone would be interested in making an informational thread consisting of past "additional artists" that have been announced for the Farm? I feel that could be pretty cool in addition to giving people more realistic and grounded expectations than "OUTKAST?@?!!?!?!?!#>@!R@#R"

They are. Can you imagine the crowd for Die Antwoord>Gogol Bordello LN in a tent? It would be the craziest party of the weekend! It needs to happen one year.

Tame Impala has a show with Flaming lips and I think White Denim (or Cloud Nothings) a couple days after roo in the general area. Probably won't happen but it would put this lineup way over the top for mel
The Joy Formidable have been on twitter all morning and asked someone "where would you like us to play? " and I responded and said they could "totally play bonnaroo in june....." and they favorited it so maybe?? I know it's not much or anything to base a confirmation off of but hey I would love to see them back at Roo
he then teams up with Damon Albarn and they do "feel good inc" and "clint eastwood"
How about "Rock the House" instead of "Feel Good"? De La Soul can come out and do "Feel Good" if they like, but I'd rather have Del do the songs he's actually on.
Hoping to see Rodrigo y Gabriela. They'll be having a new album out at the end of April, and their set a few years ago was very well received.
As much as I would love love LOVE for them to be back on the farm, I don't think it'll be this year. When they played two years ago, they were the highest-billed artist addition (if I remember correctly), so I don't think Roo would do the same thing so soon.

Anyone who has seen Rod y Gab at Bonnaroo knows what an awesome addition this would be. Probably the most talked about Thursday act in '07, my personal favorite in '09 and were a damn good lead in to Radiohead in '12. Really hope they get added as their europe tour ends at the end of may
Others I'm hoping for: Devil Makes Three, Moon Taxi, Alabama Shakes, Ben Sollee, Infamous Stringdusters, Gillian Welch/Dave Rawlings, Gary Clark Jr, Junip (or just Jose Gonzalez), Broken Social Scene, Jurassic 5, Sister Sparrow, or any Bela Fleck project
And where is the funk this year? Big Sam, St. Paul & Broken Bones are the only ones I recognize. Galactic hasn't been on the lineup for 3 years straight after performing almost every other year. Thought it would be cool to have them share a stage with Umphrey (ala Moe & Grace Potter in '09) as I believe this will be their 10th Bonnaroo as well. If no Galactic, I'll settle for any Stanton Moore side project, Budos Band, New Mastersounds, Black Joe Lewis, Orgone, Karl Denson/Greyboy Allstars, or any Meters collaboration

Yeah, that would be insane, literally. I'd wanna be on the rail for that crazy shit haha. Die Antwoord's gonna be fun, though.
For those of you that know much more than I...does it look like they could add someone big(8-15) according to the money that has been spent? I'm sure Elton and Kanye didn't come cheap...is L. Ritchie pretty expensive?
I'm hoping for a classic rock band addition.
we do this every year. go back and scour the additions to see the level of the adds.
Yea, I know...I read them most years. I meant more according to the money that had been spent on this years artist. Some years there have been some really nice additions. I kinda feel like this year they have spent a fair amount on the top 4 where as in other years they may have spent less and had more $$ to spend on any additions.
Hoping to see Rodrigo y Gabriela. They'll be having a new album out at the end of April, and their set a few years ago was very well received.

Rodrigo y Gabriela in '09 stopped me and my friends in our tracks! That show was great! Made me really bummed I missed them in '07! And their show in '12 was great. It just killed me I had to leave Ludacris and miss some of their set. I hated that conflict.
