I also really dug: J Roddy Walston & the Business - Don't Break the Needle // The Preatures - Is This How You Feel? Allah-Las - S/T // Those Darlins - Blur the Line
Those Darlins and J Roddy Walston & the Business are pretty great straightforward rock. Allah-Las are '60s garage rock revival, and The Preatures are laid back arena rock (I just made that genre up, don't judge).
I can't wait. I'd never heard of them before, but I have a growing love for the growing garage rock scene and want to stack my schedule with those kinds of acts. I've noticed in other threads that you seem to be a fan of garage rock, are there any other bands that fit this mold on this year's line-up that I should check out? I've already circled Ty Segall and King Khan & the Shrines as musts.
So, where do I post if I am listening to band that's playing Bonnaroo, but I'm not necessarily listening in the name of research? Like, I know for a fact that I'm gonna listen the hell out of Cloud Nothings new album, and that has nothing to do with them being at Bonnaroo. Sh*t, I got off my flight today and there were 3 Now Playing threads.
It just makes sense to me to have a research thread in the most heavily trafficked place. This was something I brought up when the move was being discussed. I wasn't trying to take away from Now Playing, I was trying to give people that don't frequent the other sections of the board something to dig into.

Why don't we just move regular now playing back to Which?
On one side, I really like when everybody is involved in the same hipster circle jerk. On the other, this may keep the regular Now Playing from being cluttered with Roo stuff. I'm going to keep posting in the regular Now Playing.
