Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It's totally safe to go by yourself as long as you aren't "that guy" (check out The Code on the Roo website it you aren't sure what I mean). Everyone at Roo (with VERY few exceptions) is willing to help out and watch out for others. The most important way to ensure safety is to talk to your neighbors. Make friends with all the people camping around you. When your in Centeroo, talk to the people sitting next to you or standing in line with you. As long as you aren't "that guy" people will talk to you and then in turn will look out for you if you do end up running into one of those few exception people who would take advantage of a loner.
Just don't be stupid...i.e. don't get completely smashed so you don't know where you are and end up passing out somewhere random. THAT would then make it unsafe for you to be at Roo alone.

The food prices seem fairly reasonable. If they really have grilled cheese for a dollar id probably eat a couple. I'll just pack a bunch of snacks and eat inside the festival. It's going to be a fun experience!
I'm attending Bonnaroo as a late present for getting accepted into my dream college. My awesome dad paid for my ticket. HOWEVER, I don't have any friends going and convincing people has been cry difficult. What should I know if I go alone? Is it safe for a girl to go to Roo alone? Tips on enjoying myself? (How do I meet up with Inforoosters there?)
EDIT: I'm 19 and I've been to several day festivals (Shaky Knees, Freefest, etc) many of which were 10+ hours away
I volunteered at Roo by myself in 2012 and it was one of the best things I've ever done. I kind of freaked out when I drove up, but I met friends immediately. I just made sure to try and make conversation with everybody. That's what Bonnaroo is about! Just make sure that you keep your money and valuables locked in your car. As nice as someone my seem, don't trust them to not rifle through and steal your stuff. Most people that go to Bonnaroo are decent people that want to have a good time, but there are a lot of shady folks too. Just be sure to stay aware of your surroundings...especially if you're by yourself!
$2 or not, I still have not seen these mythical grilled cheeses! That's my goal for this year.
It was one of my 1st year goals Found them over by Pod 3. My goal is to visit the Food Truck Oasis this year and get in the fountain before it gets nasty
