Caught the first show of their tour last night, they were excellent. Mercer's vocals were on point, and it was awesome seeing Burton perform live. The setlist was also a nice mix of their debut and "After the Disco", really excited to see them again in June.

The current stage set up wouldn't work during the day (they have various images that match the music projected onto an orb shaped screen, at one point they have Burton and Mercer's shadows projected onto the screen as well, it worked). That said, with all the festival appearances they already have booked they will surely have to play some day time sets over the summer. Hopefully they don't get stuck in a tent at Roo.
i feel like i'm the only person that doesnt' like them... bores the hell out of me. if i don't like the "hits", would i pretty much not like the whole album?
Been waiting to see these guys live since I heard about the collab. The prospect of hearing James Mercer sing and Danger Mouse playing along side him has been too titillating since '09. I don't even care if they play at high noon (which obviously won't happen anyway), I just wanna enjoy! Especially if they play this song.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
I'll be seeing Broken Bells on Friday night. Immediately after I am driving down to a St. Pattys Day parade at the beach in Belmar NJ (and the weather says its going to be 50 degrees and sunny out ). This weekend is going to be epic I am extremely excited.

somebody has to play the tents! haha You can still get a ton of people around a tent show though. That being said, I'm really looking forward to this show as well.
I'm sooo excited to see them. Didn't get the chance to after the first album and their new tour isn't really close to me so I'm so pumped they're at Roo. Probably in my top 5 of who I'm most excited to see, for sure.
