Cafe acts are some of my favorite shows, and since it's April, they should be announced soon. What smaller acts are you a fan of that you hope will be a cafe act. Since most of these are pretty unknown, this is a great thread to find new music IMO.
Amplifier, Apostles Of Bluegrass, Beachwood Sparks, Blackbird Blackbird, Black Queen Speaks, Black Whales, The Budos Band, Buffalo Killers, Canon Blue, The Captain Midnight Band, The Common Men, Dakotafish, Dank Sinatra, Devon Allman's Honeytribe, Dubconscious, FLT RSK, Gravity A, Goodnight Lights, Grant's Tomb, The Growl, The Floozies, Kamchatka, Lefty Williams Band, Lera Lynn, Long Distance Calling, Paprika Korps, Poynte, Rishloo, Romeo Spike, The Sexual Side Effects, StoneRider, Sumilan, Super Hairy, Tedo Stone, Terraplane Sun, That 1 Guy, Verge Of Bliss, Wild Cub

My buddies' band just submitted for it. They are called Sweet Leda and they are out of Annapolis, MD. Very good and talented group. Ron Holloway is in the band and he is a famous saxophonist who is in Warren Haynes' band and had played with Dave Matthews Band and the Allman Brothers Band.

I think the Mummies are too big for a cafe. But I would love to see them at Roo. Saw them on New Year's Eve a few years ago and it was a really fun show.

Mummies are a hard band to gauge. They're huge in Nashville and the surrounding area, but hardly anyone I know from outside the region has heard of them. They'd make a great Thursday late Tent band.

What about Tristen? She recorded her last album in Nashville I think. It was a kickstarter so I'm guessing she isn't too popular for Cafe but I'm sure you guys would know better than me.
