Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
And this is why i'm seriously considering heading elsewhere after frank ocean. Everyone at nick cave is going to stay exactly where they are. Dammit, bonnaroo, give me a non shitty edm option to compete with darkside. I guess glitch mob wins. But only cause i plan on being up front anyway.
Using Inforoo or, even worse, a thread specifically dedicated to Darkside as a cross section of the interests of Bonnaroo attendees really isn't a good idea.
That thought has crossed my mind but, and i hate to stereotype, how many nick cave fans love Zedd or Kaskade? I think cave and darkside are an unnaturally good pairing for late night. If youre at nick cave and arent going to bed, youre probably at darkside too. With the options as they are, what else interests you?

You're acting like Nick Cave is going to be packed to the brim. I will be at Darkside if I don't go to bed. Well, as long as I can find a way to get my tumbler of rye and blunt into Centeroo that is.
Going to have to make friends with some of the other people skipping/leaving early from Jack White to kill some time in the tent getting a spot for Nick Cave/Darkside.
This could be my chosen clique for brunch.

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

Gotta say I'm happy with the schedule this year. I'm seeing all of my must-sees, and a few others I wasn't expecting. To measure how much of a success, I bolded all of the names that I get to see on this list I made after the lineup came out:
Must See (Cannot miss for anything, and will be extremely bummed if any of these conflict with each other): Kanye West Frank Ocean James Blake Neutral Milk Hotel Jack White Elton John (only by default)
Definitely Maybe (I have every intention of watching these, but I am mentally-prepared to miss them in a heart-breaking conflict): Lionel Richie Vampire Weekend The Avett Brothers* Skrillex Arctic Monkeys Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Kaskade Damon Albarn Disclosure* Ms. Lauryn Hill* Umphrey's McGee Tedeschi Trucks Band* The Naked and Famous Ice Cube Cut Copy Janelle Monae Chromeo Chvrches John Butler Trio Rudimental Darkside
Quite Possibly (Not planning on attending, but would be happy if the schedule allows me to see them): Phoenix The Flaming Lips Wiz Khalifa* Yonder Mountain String Band City and Colour Meshuggah Danny Brown Break Science Bluegrass Situation* Andrew Bird* Drive-By Truckers*
Unlikely (Never say never, but I can't see any scenario where I watch their set. Note that I have seen or WILL have seen every band in this group): Mastodon* Chance the Rapper Fitz and the Tantrums Grouplove Slightly Stoopid Dr. Dog Cake Blackberry Smoke Cage the Elephant ZZ Ward St. Paul and the Broken Bones Caveman Deafheaven
* = partial set
Like I said, I can't complain. I get to watch all of my must-sees unopposed, 13 out of 21 definitely maybes. Skrillex superjam, Nick Cave, Chromeo, and Chvrches are the main ones I have to miss that I won't have seen by the time Bonnaroo comes around. I'm also bummed I won't be able to watch the all of the LN metal tent. I love metal and love that Roo is giving metal a spotlight. I just like so many of the other acts on though. Turns out I'll see ZZ Ward and Mastodon anyways too! ZZ Ward conflicts with Caveman, both of which I've seen, and the former is better live. So I'll be watching her, unless someone tells me that Cass McCombs is worth researching. And while I was gonna skip Mastodon, I'll probably watch them since I'll be hopping around for Ice Cube and Disclosure anyways.
I definitely have some conflicts but I'm trying to think of them as win - win situations. Like Grouplove vs Cage the Elephant for instance. I really wanna see both of them but at least I can have the peace of mind that no matter which I decide to go to I will have an awesome time! Most other conflicts are either artists I can live with not seeing or just overlap a little. Game time decisions will need to be made!
10/19/14-Phantogram
11/29/14-New Politics, Bad Suns
4/17/15-Hippo Campus, Night Riots, The Mowglis
5/1/15-Penn State Movin' On Music Festival-New Politics, Passion Pit, Big Gigantic, Big Sean

Saturday is gonna be a pretty eclectic mix for me at first glance: Chromeo, Cut Copy, Jack White, Frank Ocean, then Darkside. That sequence is subject to change though. Cut Copy and Darkside could be omitted based on the thoughts of my group and one Mrs Powers. Lauryn Hill is right next door during Cut Copy... Interesting.

This is a good attitude to have! And one I could bear to keep in mind. Roo is gonna be amazing, no matter what the conflicts are.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I mean, is anyone going to be actively bothered by someone making an idiot out of themselves on stage and taking away 10 minutes of staring at the "GUYS REMEMBER TO STAY HYDRATED" messages on the screens.
It's just the new filler thing like the dancing dog before Radiohead.

I need more helpful reminders.
