what does the acclaimed author of Goosebumps have to do with Choose Your Own Adventure?
ill not have you sullying Stines good name in here.
I remember the "Choose your own ending" version of Goosebumps. I didn't like them as much because half of the endings just got you killed or something. Most of the time I'd choose the ending and hold my spot because I knew I'd have to go back and choose the other one.
Classic Goosebumps for life! Night of the Living Dummy is my shit.
I was a bigger fan of Say Cheese and Die In A Fire or whatever it was called
My 8 year old just got into Goosebumps and I am sooo excited about it. The original books are harder to find though. They are all part of the "Goosebumps Horror Land" series these days.
Honestly just drop Skrilly and just have Thundercat lead the SJ. Or better yet just bring in FlyLo to replace skrillex, although don't because then I'll have to miss Nick Cave, although do because it would the greatest thing of all time.
I wonder if there are a lot of people who will omit seeing Skrillex Friday night because they plan to see the Superjam on saturday night. That Skrillex Which Stage set has zero buzz about it, haha.
I'm actually even more worried about the crowd at the Skrillex Superjam now than I was before.
Because now it appeals to Skrillex fans who don't know their ass from a Bonnaroo Superjam as well as people who understand the potential of a superjam.
I guess I'll end up on the outskirts of the Other Tent. Anyone want to hold hands and just shove our way to the front row? I'll bring the hula hoops.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
This is not normally the kind of music I get behind. But BreakScience is really good at what they do. They are perfect for an amped up festival setting.
Don't miss Break Science. They killed it at CounterPoint. So much energy in their performance.
Same at Wanee. I'm really bummed i may not make it to the farm till friday this year due to work/time off issues, and BreakScience is on thursday. They will def be a set to see. Anybody who skips it is missing out.

The crowd at this set will probably be larger than Disclosure's. Could see a lot of people skipping out on most of Jack White's set to get here early. Big G would have packed a tent by themselves, as would Zedd or Chance. It'll be interesting to see how late nights pan out with the odd Which/Tent booking selections.
Honestly, I would have swapped Frank Ocean's and Cut/Copy's set times, have Zedd be the first act in late night Other Tent, have Kaskade close out The Other tent and put the Superjam on the Which. Just me though.

Maybe Mickey will open the set with Drums > Space for a half hour and chase half the crowd off?

...and the most awkward rendition of Stagger Lee ever.
Nothing awkward about singing about rape and murder with one hundred of my closest friends and a crazy australian dude.
I'm kind of expecting to wake up Sunday morning hearing, "We at Bonnaroo regret to inform everyone the That Tent is now nothing more than a pile of rubble because Nick Cave rocked it so fucking hard last night."
Now that Chance the Rapper is in a superjam, I doubt it starts on time. Cause, ya know, rap and stuff.
I covered a jam band fest in Kentucky for a local newspaper last year. Mickey Hart was the headliner and he was 2 hours late to his own headlining gig. I left after about 30 minutes of his set cause eff that.

I know it's been discussed ad nauseam but Frank Ocean/Flaming Lips/Nick Cave/Skillet Superjam is tearing up my heart. I'm leaning towards splitting the lips and frank and seeing nick cave in Philly, but I just don't know
2012: White Denim : SBTRKT : Superjam : Punch Bros : Feist : Radiohead
2013: The Stepkids : Dirty Projectors : HAIM : The National : Paul : Animal Collective : R.Kelly : DATSUPERJAM : Byrne & Vincent : SWANS....damn. take me back to 2013

But yeah, rap and stuff.
it was a joke.
Oh yeah, I was agreeing with you. Sorry it didn't translate through text very well.

If you want to earn your kid's eternal love go check out some thrift shops. I was obsessed with Goosebumps growing up and had a huge collection of the originals. When I was like thirteen I sold them all off at a garage sale for thirty bucks and thought I was rich. Anyway, I started rebuilding my collection about five years ago via finding tons of them at the thrift store. They were all cheap as hell and in good condition.

The greatest Bonnaroo moment of all time would be Mickey Hart joining Kanye onstage and singing the John Legend parts of Blame Game.
But seriously the Derek Trucks Superjam and the Mastodon show are both in a great slot to lure any Kanye detractors away from the What Stage on Friday night. Should be mostly positive vibez in the field that evening.

This is a question that I know has been answered, but surprisingly search isn't helping me too much. How much time does it take to travel from stage to stage and how early do you have to show up to have a good viewing spot. I'm guessing much easier earlier in the day, steadily getting harder. Also does the crowd drop off at all during the late night with people heading back to camp?
I've only ever been to Austin City Limits where it wasn't that hard to get a decent viewing throughout the day. I could generally head up to at least the soundboard right as the show was starting.

The crowd definitely does thin out during late nights but not as quickly as you would think. Plus with closing the What stage it forces everyone into a smaller space.
If you want to be up close under a tent you should arrive during the back half/end of the previous performer. You can scamper right up once they previous person ends. I'd say you could walk from tent to tent pretty quickly solo. It usually takes about 10 minutes if you're trying to move with a group. Going from the What stage to the Other tent could take like 15 minutes when there's a big crowd. You'll learn your way around quickly though which makes things go a lot smoother.
Also worth noting that the sound at the Which stage kinda sucks unless you are close. And that field can be hot as blazes during the day.

So going into Late Night say, would you have to skip a good portion of the headliner set (half hour or so) to not be pushed out of the tent for the acts that start right away?

If you left a half hour before a headliner ended you would likely have an awesome spot for a late night. If you leave right as the headliner ends you'll probably still have a good spot but may not necessarily be under the tent.
I've seen plenty of full headlining sets and still gotten a really good spot at the following late night. Just start creeping over toward the What ditch toward the end of the headliner and you'll be good.
At a festival, I feel like I see so many more acts because I never go for a good spot. Just hang back and enjoy it with my ears. I'm super short so it really doesn't matter where I am.

i also have hula hoops to contribute to this effort as well. i'm in.

EXXXAAACCCTTTLLLYYYYY. i'm short so being really in the crowd is actually worse for me. i also like to just be able to lay down if necessary, and if i want to dance i like to have room to do that...
