90's Rave (full service party.....which is a collection of DJs) from 3:59 to 5:00 a.m. in the Christmas barn thing.
Hell yea. Christmas barn was awesome late-late night last year.
I'm sure I've said this before but I love it so here goes. My group could never remember the name of that damn barn so we kept calling it "Christmas disco pizza party." Hope to carry on that tradition this year.

Yay, finally got my 10 posts completed so I can join in all the conversations!
Here is my schedule:
Thur: Wild Feathers > Robert Delong or AM & Shawn > ZZ Ward > part of Thao > MS MR > Cherub > Polica > J Roddy > Robert Delong Silent Disco > Tiki Disco
Fri: Greensky Bluegrass > Craig Robinson stand up > Dr Dog > part of Umphrey's McGee > Ben Howard > Part of the head and the heart > Vampire Weekend > Phoenix > Superjam > Skrillex
Sat: Most of Classixx, Seasick Steve > Haerts > Drunk History Live > Cage The Elephant > part of Slightly Stoopid > Chromeo > Cut Copy > Jack White > Superjam > part of Glitchmob/get close for Kaskade > Kaskade > Maybe silent disco end if I can get a spot
Sun: Vance Joy > Capital Cities > part of Lone Bellow > Arctic Monkies > part of City and Colour > Avett Brothers > Bluegrass Superjam > Elton John
I know I'm being unrealistic to be able to make it to all of these. I think the only time I might eat a real meal is during Kanye! I'm also interested in checking out that robe party at the Christmas barn, but it isn't looking like I can fit it in the schedule. Bummed to miss Disclosure, Chvrches, Fitz, Real Estate, Break Science, First Aid Kit, Cake, Drive By Tuckers, Grouplove, Zedd, and many others.

No time for food or sleep this weekend....oh well...Bonnarooooooooo!
Just looking at it again & already changed Saturday....I lOVE the 1st Grouplove record but I just got the 2nd one & it's really turning me off....I don't know much of Damon Albarn but just checked out some stuff & got a real David Byrne vibe, which is just fine with me. Looks like I'll be at What all day...plenty of time to scope out the premo spot for prime time with III....

Just out of curiosity, why do you plan on watching the Finals on Thursday? I've always been perplexed by people choosing to do this but never knew anyone who actually did lol. I mean, there's so much to do at Roo and so many unique experiences to be had, so it's hard for me to imagine doing something that I could more or less be doing at home. Though I suppose it would give you some rest/food time if there's nothing musically that interests you at the time.

Uh, you do realize the word "fan" is short for fanatic right? Plus it's air conditioned. Having said that I've never been in there. Do they serve beer?
Like I said, I was just wondering, not judging at all...I used to be a huge basketball fan but I still probably wouldn't miss any of Roo for a finals game lol. To each their own. I don't know if they serve beer in the cinema tent, but if not you should just down a few before heading in; rinse and repeat during halftime.

It's funny because I've always had the exact same opinion....until last year. I actually wanted to see The Polyphonic Spree doing Rocky Horror & wanted to get a good seat so I thought I would go to the playoff game beforehand & just stay for the Rocky set afterwards. There wasn't too much that I was stoked about last year during that timeframe & the same this year...if it were Jonathan Wilson or someone else playing this year then it would be a different story. HOWEVER, so I attended the game last year to get a good seat for Rocky.....and the funny thing is they cleared the room after the game & the line was too long to get back in for Rocky - so I checked out Maps & Atlases & Capitol Cities & ended up totally loving them....and also ended up LOVING the experience of watching the playoff game. Two really passionate fan bases talking shit to each other, people getting loud & INSANELY excited...I'm a basketball fan so I like the experience of watching the game in itself & watching at Roo with a bunch of crazy fans on both sides take it to another level. No matter who's playing the fans in there will totally be into it so the energy level is great.....and it's air conditioning so it's a great break at the beginning of a VERY long weekend, and they do serve beer....i was actually excited when I saw there was no one again this year that I was stoked about during that time & could check out the game again.....
Am I the only one who has no idea what "full service party" means? Does it come with a happy ending?

I introduced them to my Roo group, they were well received. I used to travel a lot and when that album came out, I constantly played it on my trips.. See you at the Goat set!
The current top six acts on Bonnaroo's lineup page, in order of people saying they'll be attending:
1. Elton John (19,590) 2. Skrillex (18,981) 3. Skrillex Superjam (18,098) 4. Kanye West (17,487) 5. Vampire Weekend (16,894) 6. Jack White (16,808)
Thoughts: 1. The Superjam is in a TENT. This legitimately concerns me. People expressed safety concerns on this board before, but seeing those numbers makes me really really think they should move it.
STOKED FOR GOAT! Just listening to them again today....ran across them when listening through the lineup & was immediately hooked! If not late night then a Sunday afternoon is a perfect time slot IMO.

2. People really fucking like Skrillex.
I wonder what it would take to get Bonnaroo to move the Skrillex Superjam? Surely these numbers provide them with the data they need to make a change?
Or maybe they are just counting on people going to see something else when they walk up and see how crowded the tent is.

Is it wishful thinking that maybe they put screens on The Other Tent?
Also, did it always say "Red Bull Music Academy (Late Night Programming" late on the Sonic Stage Friday and Saturday.
I don't know, but I remember the original RBMA announcement said that they would be hosting performances on the Sonic Stage. Given it's oontz, late night spots would only make sense.
